Clinton’s fondness for Barbra Streisand finally explained

posted at 10:32 am on July 26, 2006 by Allahpundit

Call it sock-puppet sexuality. And yet another mark in the liability column of AC’s page in the conservative ledger.

The really embarrassing thing? It sounds from the transcript like she mentioned this to Deutsch in the course of private conversation during the commercial break, not thinking he’d broach the subject on-air.

Which I guess answers the eternal question of whether she really believes her own crap. Kaus has always insisted that she does. Well, there you go.

Not a total loss, though. Sullivan will probably have to come down off the cross for a little while to post about it. And it’ll be fun watching the left feign outrage at the thought of smearing political opponents with gay innuendo, even as they whisper about the significance of the size of Coulter’s adam’s apple.

Another week or two of stumping for Lieberman and I figure we’ll be seeing “Is Clinton queer?” posts at dKos.

Ann bite is as strong as her bark. Hillarious! She plays the dolts in the MSM like the fiddle fools they are. She’s brilliant. Almost as much as Michelle. Almost.

AC losing credibility? Hardly. Maybe true among a few select, smart conservatives who rightfully understand that AC is an embarassment for Repubs.

But to Malkinites and other bottom feeding Savage-loving wingnuts, this woman is, and always will be a national hero.

AC could go on camera throwing puppies into a woodchipper and the Malkinites would still buy her book and Hannity would still lick her boots.

Color me a Coultermaniac but could it possibly be that she was trying out a dialogue in private on Deutsch just to see how it would fly which resulted in him pushing her for the sound bite? I doubt that would have happened to a prominant liberal.

I don’t understand Cigarmans behavior nor latent homosexuality. While I understand the concepts it just doesn’t make sense. Maybe a sex therapist could explain these things to me so that I could decide if Ann is onto something. Usually she offers an explination for remarks like these which causes me to believe this idea was rushed out a bit early.

Could latent homosexuality cause guys to search for adams apples?

Aw c’mon. You’d really like her to spank you wouldn’t you?

As opposed your national hero, Bawney Franks.

AC could go on camera throwing puppies into a woodchipper and the Malkinites would still buy her book and Hannity would still lick her boots.I would prefer that she throw liberals into the woodchipper. Manure in, manure out.

I just wrote a post slamming Coulter on this very blog, which is owned by Michelle, and you dismiss Coulter’s apologists as “Malkinites.”

Good job, blue. Once again, you’ve won the Ronnie Retard Award of the Day.

It’s a good thing that dead horse doesn’t feel pain with all the beating it’s taken.

Ah, Ann,keeping me addicted to shadenfreude with the discontent she causes folks like better off blue..

Q) Is Shadenfreude a sin? My parish priest and I think so…

opiemuyo on July 26, 2006 at 12:24 PM

Well, there is a lot of literature out there to support her assertion, but even at a basic level his blatant promiscuity is indicative of some deep-seated difficulties in growing up. The mere fact that he has a laundry list of both willing and unwilling “partners” and that Hillary obviously allowed it ,while the Libs worship the both of them, should be a clue as to the pathology on the left.

bbz123 on July 26, 2006 at 12:28 PM

Annie jumped the shark a while ago, she is well on her way to buffoonery. Which of course makes her the perfect guest for Deutsch* and H/C. (*You know they say in America, anyone can grow up to be president, well this guy and that Glenn Beck–think that’s his name–are proof positive that in American anyone can grow up to be a talk show host. Sweet mother of God. While I’m at it, Tim Russert is getting on my nerves, I am sick to death of hearing about his dad–we get it, he worked hard and was a good role model. Give it a rest.)

Rant over……

opiemuyo on July 26, 2006 at 12:24 PM

It’s a sin obviously, but recognizing it in yourself is more than most people are willing to do!!! I find myself up to my ass with shadenfreude with W these days; know it’s not an attractive trait, but goshdarn it, it’s so much fun!!!!

honora on July 26, 2006 at 12:33 PM

Seems silly to me, but it’s kind of fun to imagine the uproar if it had been a Mark Lewinski…

Excuse me, but I think retarded people would be offended by being compared to B.O.B.

Hillary; that tastes like Sh@t!
Bill; oh yeah, I forgot Al wanted to go too.

Ann is tops. If she makes a mistake, guess what? It proves she’s also human. I don’t judge her worth by this comment or that book or one TV appearance. To put it in sporting terms, Ann Coulter is an All Star. Deutch is a benchwarmer. Ann probably gave him his highest TV ratings of the year. Ann makes some comments just to watch the B.o.Bble-heads of the leftiths go into hypersnits. Fine with me-if they are reacting emotionally, they aren’t thinking logically, and if they keep that up, all of a sudden they’ve lost ANOTHER election!
I’m very glad that Ann is on our side. Y’all Lefties can keep your Sheehans to yourselves.

Doug on July 26, 2006 at 2:34 PM

Well, there is a school of thought that believes that some men who are rampant womenizers are indeed covering up for deep-seeded feelings of homosexuality.
Whether Bill Clinton is one of them or not is yet to be seen, but look at the case of Jim McGreevey, former governor of NJ. According to his book, he was an avid consumer of porn, and heterosexual affairs, prior to finally experiencing homosexuality.

Granted, this isn’t something that anyone with any sense really wants to put out there about the former president of the United States, but if you look at it with intellectual honesty, there may be a sliver of truth there somewhere. Anne just has the balls to say it, where many don’t.

few select, smart conservatives

Looks like we’re making progress with our angry little Bob. The fact that he admits that there are any smart conservatives is a major breakthrough. Watch out Bobby. You’re talking heresy here.

better off blue and honora clearly hate Coutler almost as much as they hate George W. Bush.

That says (1) Coulter’s message is one that they and their komrades fear and (2) that, in their mind at least, her message is effective AND her method of dissemination is working.

What is not to like about that?

Regardless of what we (including you Allahpundit) think of Coulter (and I understand and somewhat agree with you), our enemy fears her. And they express their fear every time they attack and defame her, though the fools on the left will deny this obvious truth.

She is a weapon unsheathed; one that has drawn our enemy’s blood and one they fear greatly. As long as she is effective — and it is the wailing from the left that determines that, not our disagreement over her tactics — I’ll not criticize her in public. I will sit back and enjoy watching our enemies run in confusion and bleed out in the dust thanks to their own, self-inflicted throat slittings.

The way he complains about her makes me wonder if Allah secretly has a crush on Coulter and is just trying to cover it it up. ;)

Poor Bill. I recall the huge gay bash at the inaugaration parties that were broadcast on television. And the lezzies yellying send out Chelsea at the fence of the white house.
Great buddies those deviates.

I find as perfectly acceptable just about any comment that defames a man who made most of America retch every day for eight years.
Only Jimmy Carter is worse and for the opposite reasons.
If discretion is the better part of valor, that alone should be one helluva clue.

My comment is based on my fascination with languages in general and the emergence of blogging words in specific, and the psychology of idiots. I suffer political opponents if they argue soundly but I don’t suffer fools and hypocrites. Disclaimer – not all whom I address here are fools.

pistolero, BoB is not a ‘he’.

BoB, if Michelle Malkin were of your political persuasion you’d have to call her adherents “Malkinistas” vs. “Malkinites”. I’m thankful for the latter.

BoB, again, your only sound argument would have been “there is nothing wrong with homosexuals”.

BoB, one more thing – how snooty of you to designate some conservatives smart or not – who do you think you are?

opiemuyo and honora, sin or no sin, Schadenfreude is an emotion and no other language can express its true meaning the way German does. Therefore the word was adopted into other languages.

Schaden = misfortune/detriment.
Freude = joy/delight.
Schadenfreude = malicious joy in the misfortunes/detriment of others.

There is a saying in German “Schaden-freude ist auch eine Freude”, meaning “Schadenfreude is also a joy/delight”.

The author of this site http://junkyardblog.transfinitum.net/ has invented a derivative: Verrücktenfreude. I believe Narrenfreude could have the same effect.

Verrückte/Narren = the insane/fools
Verrücktenfreude/Narrenfreude = malicious joy in the insanity of others (especially your opponents, ex. BoB)

There is also a German expression “Sich zum Narren machen” = to make an ass of oneself.

Speaking of ‘asses’ – we might have Ann making one of herself proudly, now and then (she is still one of the wittiest beings ever created) and Rep. now-in-jail Cunningham – BoB’s side has: Howard Dean, Michael Moore, Cindy Sheehan, Sen. Teddy Kennedy, Sen. John Kerry, Rep. Kucinich, Rep. John Murtha, Rep. Maxine Waters, Rep. Cynthia McKinney, Sen. Durbin, Sen. Reid, Rep. Pelosi, Sen. Boxer, etc. etc. Note how many more they have and how many are elected or appointed by BoBs constituency.

Verrücktenfreude/Narrenfreude!!! And, yes, Schadenfreude!

Saw a clip of Annie talking about this Clinton/gay thing. She states to the interviewer (Matthews?)–”well did you read the Starr Report? I read it over and over, I have some passages memorized.”

How proud her mother must be. What’s the name of her latest book that slams the left–Godless? Huh.

AC is one of the few really funny people out there today. Her timing is impeccable. She can tie an opponent into knots which outrages the lefties, most of whom are not fast enough to out think her.

A clever debater can win arguments against her, in which case I have seen her concede and sometimes retract and restate. She is actually good natured about losing points. She sometimes oversteps in her ramblings, which are near Paglia speed.

The dolts on the left foolishly decided to elevate her to the honored position of greatest enemy. She is now not just funny, but notorious. How lucky because now her words will reach a much greater audience.

I enjoy her because she exudes happiness, not bile like the humorless humorists of the left. I love the fact that many of her retorts pass over the heads of her opponents.

She toys with them.
