For those of us trying to actively take a role in the spinning world of the blogosphere, it’s neat to see that if you have one small bit inspired observation, you can take down Dan Rather. The new “Sock Puppet” scandal of Greenwald also has potential. The hard left leaning editorialist has (allegedly, news to be released later by Patterico) been posting responses in support to his own blogs and posts under different names. People seem to forget that to look someone up on the internet, even based on an anonymous post, isn’t that hard to do, and you should never have to fabricate an individual to seem more supported…In other news…Ahmadinejad sent letters to Merkel of Germany, and Chirac of France, which (unlike the letter he penned to the US) have yet to be released for review by the general public. The man is a serious nutter…hard to negotiate with someone who is so heavily into the 12th Imam belief. People can scoff at it but: World leaders had expected a conciliatory proposal to defuse the nuclear crisis after Teheran had restarted another part of its nuclear programme in August. Instead, they heard the president speak in apocalyptic terms of Iran struggling against an evil West that sought to promote “state terrorism”, impose “the logic of the dark ages” and divide the world into “light and dark countries”.The speech ended with the messianic appeal to God to “hasten the emergence of your last repository, the Promised One, that perfect and pure human being, the one that will fill this world with justice and peace”. This is the smoke and mirrors factor that is the lefty Nutroots. One other little minor scandal was the mess that Huffington Poster, Dr Peter Rost, was attacked by Huffington’s OWN site administrators who were signing on as different names, not their OWN screen names. Then, those same site admins threw Rost off the Huffypost site when their own lies were exposed.

So, here is the easy conclusion to come to. The lefty blogosphere is a chimera of fake power ginned up by an incredibly small handful of lefties who are making a paper army of dozens of different screen names per activist. They really do NOT have an army of supporters behind them!

Pretty soon, the Democrats will realize this and begin to ignore them. But, the problem is, that realization will affect ALL the net and make it less appealing to political campaigns and harm the power-base that really IS beginning to emerge on the net (especially on the right).

The left’s lies and perfidy will, once again, truly hurt the country!

Exactly! All anybody had to do was show them that comparison of the “old” memo with the Word file. All the yammering about kerning and superscript… it was like if Rather found a “memo” written in purple crayon on the back of a Denny’s placemat, and everybody was arguing that in the ’70s the Air Force used Burnt Sienna.
