The Times is not a-changing

posted at 11:42 am on July 22, 2006 by Bryan

The boss has a blistering post up about the latest NYT wartime disclosure. The heat is deserved: The NYT has published a story that can only help Hezbollah and its allies, while hurting Israel and the US.

It’s a very good thing the NYT wasn’t as hostile to FDR as it obviously is to GWB, or the Third Reich and the Greater Pan-Asian Co-Prosperity Sphere would probably rule the world.

Blowback

And why doesnt this Administration do anything to combat this. I want freedom of the press as most but MG! Hopefully there is something behind the scenes going on.

There wouldn’t have been a second incident of treason from the NYT in FDR’s day.

They wouldn’t be doing it now if Ashcroft hadn’t left.

Just what is our new attorney general’s track record with prosecution? Are they walking all over him with the U.N. with the times leaks? We need to have some Israeli type “overreaction” to the libDems in this country, including the MSM.

Then again, it might be a message to Hez that Israel will get all it needs to destroy them. So far no cease fire and ground operations have begun.

Hopefully the Enemy Press NYT has been used instead of using the government sources.

I heard this report on Fox News this morning and dropped my coffee mug, scaring the hell out of my unsuspecting cat.

In light of what Howell Raines had to say, yesterday, I’d love to share what my husband, a lawyer, recommends be done with the traitorous legal beagles. It’s not fit to print, so use your imaginations. ;->.

Howell Raines said the leakers are in the legal department. Surely we know who they are. Maybe we are just letting the infomration flow, building a case against a large traitorous plot. Operation “McCarthy’s revenge” or something. I think they are becoming less and less effective over time. Despite their efforts, the U.S. is quietly developing the same resolve as Israel.

Sorry, I am still learning how to use the tools here

Hmm… I wonder if the the US government, is its roll as anti espiange enforcement, has bothered to tap the phones of the NYT????

It would be perfectly legal to do so… communications with those who break the laws are NOT protected speech, unless you happen to be their lawyer…. Speech to a reporter is NOT protected…. easy decision to me…

I have enough faith in the government to do thier job that I think they already know who is talking, what they are saying, and what thier plans are. It is just that the risk to the country (and the current administrations ability to continue to serve this country) is greater than the benefit of prosecuting these people (probably not without huge political backlash).

As we can see, the blatency of the traitorous behavior is both increasing, yet becoming less effective. I think they will hang themselves, both politically and legally.

But this requires the rest of us who are reasonable to keep up the dialoge and feedback — to be more vocal and active in government.

CountryDoc on July 22, 2006 at 1:22 PM

As if Hezbollah, et al, didn’t know the U.S. supports Israel.

Vanya on July 22, 2006 at 3:06 PM

I eagerly await the day when these leakers names are leaked. Lousy damnfools!

DannoJyd on July 22, 2006 at 3:51 PM

I’m thinking we could develop some kind of exchange program with the psychotic islamic nutbag terrorists. We could send them our “leakers” that they could use for beheading practice for TIT’s (terrorists in training). In turn, they could send over any TIT’s who don’t quite meet their standards. We’ll give them some freedom, booze, porn and set them up with an account at eHarmony.com then see how many want to go back.

I wonder what they would have done to Mr. Sulzberger.

“The munitions that the United States is sending to Israel are part of a multimillion-dollar arms sale package approved last year that Israel is able to draw on as needed, the officials said.” – article.

Approved last year

Send Israel all the weaponry they need…at no charge.

What do you reckon should be done to this anti semitic traitorious bastard? Uh huh.

THeDRiFTeR on July 23, 2006 at 6:43 PM

Folks, this is not as much of a stroy as you might think.

Congress was alerted to the possible sale of 100 GBU-28s and supporting equipment in in April of 2005 and it was well noted in the various MSM outlets at the time. I mentioned these bombs in December of last year as well.

The only real story here is that Israel didn’t have these munition in their inventory at the start of this latest conflict, as many of us figured they would have had them on hand for an Iranian strike months ago.
