Andy McCarthy has the details at NRO:
You may not remember the name Uzair Paracha. He is a Pakistani who tried to help an al Qaeda operative named Majid Kahn enter the United States for the purpose of carrying out a chemical attack.
The Justice Department credits the Terrorist Finance Tracking Program (TFTP) with providing the intelligence that helped identify Paracha. As a result, he was convicted of providing material support to al Qaeda.
That’s the same TFTP that the NY Times exposed last month.
As for Paracha, he and his father were the subject of a VENT video on July 12. They were part of the Baltimore terror cell, connected to American al Qaeda operative Adam Gadahn, that intended to attack gas stations around the city.
Uzair Paracha was convicted last year; today he got 30 years imprisonment. The senior Paracha is in Camp Delta at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
The question is, as McCarthy asks, since the Times has done so much damage to the TFTP, will we be able to stop the next Uzair Paracha?
