On the contrary, Michelle needs to wear MORE dresses like that, and more tank tops and belly t-shirts. Indeed, if Michelle were a single lady (i.e., no husband), I would suggest a leopard bikini.

I must say that it is a true pleasure that from time to time, we can compliment on how great Michelle looks without getting a lecture from some womens’ lefts group and without Michelle becoming upset because we do honestly and sincerely compliment her. For me, this demonstrates that Michelle has a good heart and a good down-to-earth nature. Being a champion of civility DOES NOT make a lady a prude or priggish (something that Michelle has unfairly and inaccurately been accused of in the past).

While we must always remember the important, serious, purpose of HOTAIR of keeping us informed, to challenge the dinosaur MSM, to get involved, and to engage the enemies of our still free and great nation, we must also remember that part of HOTAIR’s purpose is to entertain and to laugh.

I hope the U.N. acts appropriately, and supports Israel, rather than condemning the democracy and supporting the lawless terrorists.

The title is “The Three Conjectures” in which Wretchard lays out 3 scenarios concerning nukes in the hands of the Islamofascists.

Scenario 1: Their possession of nukes LOWERS the nuclear threshold, and eliminates mutual assured destruction as a viable deterrent strategy.

As Wretchard puts it:

The taboo which held back generations from mass murder has been mentally crossed by radical Islam and their hand gropes uncertainly for the dagger.

Scenario 2: The problem with the Islamofascists is that there is no unity of command, as with a nation-state. Each one of these “leaders” can issue a “fatwa” that authorizes murder, independently of one another, and there is no requirement to honor either a fatwa or the cancellation of one by any other religious “leader.”

So the problem becomes, as Wretchard put it:

At this point, a United States choked with corpses could still not negotiate an end to hostilities or deter further attacks. There would be no one to call on the Red Telephone, even to surrender to. In fact, there exists no competent Islamic authority, no supreme imam who could stop a jihad on behalf of the whole Muslim world. Even if the terror chiefs could somehow be contacted in this apocalyptic scenario and persuaded to bury the hatchet, the lack of command and control imposed by the cell structure would prevent them from reining in their minions. Due to the fixity of intent, attacks would continue for as long as capability remained. Under these circumstances, any American government would eventually be compelled by public desperation to finish the exchange by entering -1 x 10^9 in the final right hand column: total retaliatory extermination.

You read that correctly.

Wretchard is saying that should even ONE of these fanatics gets and uses a nuke, the end result may be the eradication of nearly ALL Muslims, all 1.5 billion of them, and that we would have no choice about it, as there is no unity of command to arrange an end of hostilities.

This is truly a grim possibility. But given the 8th Century mindset of the Islamofascist “leaders” who clearly intend to make Islam supreme in the world, what choice may we have?

And for the liberals reading this, save your ‘tut-tuts’ about this, because Wretchard notes one other aspect of Islamic history:

Even if Islam killed every non-Muslim on earth they would almost certainly continue to kill each other with their new-found weaponry. Revenge bombings between rival groups and wars between different Islamic factions are the recurring theme of history.

In other words, SHOULD THE ISLAMOFASCISTS GET NUKES, HUMANITY, THE SPECIES, DIES ANYWAY! No need to worry about “global warming” and “penguins marching” across the desert after that….

Wretchard’s final scenario is the most hopeful one.

He points out that this is humanity’s “golden hour” — an anology to that period of time in trauma medicine when it is possible to save severely injured patients if they can get medical help.
