I’m the guy who started the ball rolling back in 2002, comparing that sketch of the never-found JD2 to Padilla. Yup, my first blog claim to fame. And I don’t think they’re the same guy, for the record. But it’s the darndest thing–in digging into the possibility, we could never rule it out. And we dug.

I looked up this Judge Marcia Cooke’s bio (she’s in teh US DC for teh Southern District of Florida) earlier and she was appointed by GWB in 2002 (or 2004 I forget). Anyway, I was thinking that it would be some liberal judge and…. I may be write but she was not appointed by a liberal President (unless you’re talknig immigration and that’s another issue entirely). I couldn’t find her actual bio but I found some self aggrandizing notes from NH Senator (I cannot remember his name) that was congratulating himself on getting her approved and moved trough the senate…

You need to see if you could pick up a little extra cash by moonlighting at DU or Daily KOS under a pseudoname.
