Those tough-to-remove stains

Here’s Google Video’s homepage. Enter “Iraq” as a search term and see what turns up as the top result.

It’s like grass, grease, and grape juice combined.

Four stars, to boot. Not as many as Chomsky got, sure, but it’s nothing to sniff at.

Update: You can contact Google here.

Wow…… nah, no agenda here, nothing to see, move along.

Ah, Google.

I guess only certain people are worth the trouble it takes to scrub the archives.

Slublog on July 12, 2006 at 11:58 AM

Just goes to show… you can fool some of the people all the time… and if ya fool enough of em, you can get elected.

The founders of google who still run it and most of their employees, are hard core liberal democrats.

See: http://news.com.com/5208-1030-0.html?forumID=1&threadID=18566&messageID=159019&start=-191

http://www.usatoday.com/money/industries/technology/2005-02-13-google-give-usat_x.htm

USA Today reported:

As it claws for greater power, the Democratic Party has found a newly rich ally in one of the fastest-growing U.S. companies: Google.

Google employees gave $207,650 to federal candidates for last year’s elections, up from just $250 in 2000 when it was still a start-up. And 98% went to Democrats, the biggest share among top tech donors, a new USA TODAY campaign finance analysis shows.

This isn’t the first time that such searches come up “subtlely leftwing.”

Just remember how cozy they are with Communist China.

Moron. If you’re going to be a soldier/wannabe/pretender at least do a good job at it. This guy can’t even pretend to be a soldier convincingly.

High Desert Wanderer on July 12, 2006 at 12:27 PM

Wow, these guys really do love China and hate themselves for it. I get a headache trying to have sympathy for them messed up critters at Goggle and all their loony friends. It is good to be “right” and happy!

I had to comment on it, but as I said in my comment, I for one think it’s a great example of how far the Anti-War/Anti-Bush left will go to discredit and undermine our brave soldiers and our fight against extremists and terrorists. This isn’t the first fakery propaganda video made and touted as truth fromt he far left, and it sure as hell won’t be the last.

Try “impeachment”
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=impeachment

Allahpundit…take note here.

According to OpEdNews.com, the Illinois State Legislature may soon be “dropping a bombshell” — they may soon be voting on a resolution to impeach President Bush.’

California is doing this, too.

Another round of tough stain to remove. How convenient…right before the 2006 election.

Down to three stars now…

At least some of the tags are accurate: fake, liar, false, slander, proven fraud…

Try “impeachment”

Hmmm…not a word about “Slick Willy” on that page…
Must be an oversight:p

And Cindy Sheehan search has over a page of links, but not Michelle Malkin’s interview. I’m gobsmacked!

The other day I searched google for “anti nyt t-shirt” and got several anti bush pages. Amazing how the engine works. I have stopped using google.

Be great if “Day by Day” started a search engine :)

Not anytime soon…

The bill was referred to the House Rules Committee where it is *DEAD*.

The BDS sufferers have been greatly disappointed by the Illinois House, which refuses to “get involved” with their dastardly schemes.

If you read the US House Rules carefully, a state vote on an impeachment resolution does not bind the House of Representatives to (1) investigate whether to procede, or (2) refer it to the House Judiciary Committee for further review. The House Rules simply state that the House will consider such a request from a state, or they can simply ignore it.

Of course, as a House “rule”, it can be revoked at any time by the entire body.

Apparently the moonbats do not understand this: The House of Representatives is NOT a creature of the States. Representatives are elected directly by the people, and the collective body is separate from the States, who have no jurisdiction over it.

Nevertheless, the moonbats have wrapped themselves with “603″ in the mistaken belief that this is how they can forcibly overthrow Bush.

A question that I have is this: Would the IL state legislators who introduced this resolution be at risk for FEDERAL charges under 18 USC 2381 (treason) or 18 USC 2385 (attempting to overthrow the government) for the act of introducing a bill to oust the elected President of the United States?

My initial and admittedly cursory research says that STATE legislators do NOT have federal “immunity” for violations of FEDERAL laws for actions made in the course of their state legislative duties.

If I remember correctly, the state legislators of the confederate states were forcibly removed from office after the civil war and treated as traitors, ineligable to run for election again during the reconstruction.

It seems to me that using the “color of law” to overthrow an election where the people through the electoral college elected the President, might be sedition or treason even today.

Anybody want to hazard an opinion?

georgej on July 12, 2006 at 3:34 PM

georgej, thanks for that rundown and especially the info that the IL House Rules killed it.

In my entirely UNexpert opinion, though, I think probably a vote that amounts to wishful thinking about removing the president through *lawful* means carries no danger to the folks involved. Impeachment isn’t overthrow.

Anwyn on July 12, 2006 at 4:06 PM

thank you George. Nice rebutall on using facts to knock some sense into those moonbats. Not that they’ll want to learn.

Wikpedia is another one to watch. This peoples’ reference allows operatives to manipulate their enemies’ images. Check out Sheriff Joe Arpaio in Wikpedia. Hints of torure and abuse.

I find myself using Wikpedia out of laziness, but often walk into propaganda packages.

I have replaced google with yahoo in my toolbar.

On the bright side, if you click the MacBeth video, the “related tags” include liar, fake, and false.

The Unabrewer on July 13, 2006 at 12:36 AM

entagor, when it comes to politics (and maybe rarely in sports) I call Wikipedia, Wickedpedia in my blog.
