There’s enough ambiguity and he said/she said to keep this rot going for years.

Good ... which means there's enough to keep the leftwing conspiracy nuts hooked for years, waiting on baited breath for that inevitable sealed indictment to finally be unsealed ... only to be crushingly let down again and again and again. You've got to admit it's entertaining.

There's enough ambiguity and he said/she said to keep this rot going for years. For me, the moment Wilson was proven a liar, I stopped listening to arguments. His whole thing about President Bush lying in the State of the Union address is over and ignorable. There's too many important events happening now to keep yammering about this. Israel is trying to get their soldiers back, and have gone into Lebanon. Iran is thumbing its nose at the world, and the puppetmaters in China have North Korea acting up.
We're still being invaded by illegal aliens, some who may be coming here to bomb, not work, as terror plots/cells in New York and Florida have been discovered and stopped. There could be thousands of terror cells across the country, we could have a dozen 9-11 incidents between now and Christmas, so I don't care about Joe Wilson anymore.

Using the active ingredient in illegal hallucinogenic mushrooms, researchers at Johns Hopkins University have induced a lingering sense of spirituality that they believe has the potential to help patients struggling with addiction or terminal cancer…

Incidentally, those very same researchers have replaced all their furniture with bean bag chairs, put wood paneling all over the walls, hung a disco ball from the ceiling and installed a $20,000 home theater system purchased with a Federal No Shit Grant awarded on the basis of their groundbreaking research. Calls for further comment were not returned due to the fact that the researchers mistook the ringing phone for first contact with alien life and officials have, as yet, been unable to coax them out of the chemistry lab.

Officials have also warned that no further volunteers are needed for the program and in fact that the 20,000 people hanging out in the parking lot for the last two weeks have been asked to leave.

When asked for comment, Spirit Freedom, age 22, who has been camped out in the parking lot for three days, expressed confusion over the situation.

"I heard Phish was reuniting so I had to be here." Mr. Freedom stated. "The only problem is that, for some reason, everyone keeps talking about someone giving away free mushrooms so no one is buying. At this rate I'll never have enough money to get to the Rainbow Gathering"

After some clarification he expressed dissatisfaction that "Phish was not reuniting" but did express interest in the Johns Hopkins experiment before fleeing at the sight of a patrol officer.

More breaking news, fully one-half of Americans surveyed reported they found a drink or two after work to be soothing and relaxing. Details to follow more Federally funded research.

Novak does say his recollection of his conversations with Rove and Harlow differs from theirs, which is a polite way of calling them liars.

Not necessarily. It's quite easy for different people to have different recollections of something, and without a transcript, audio, or videotape, there's no way to know which version (if any) is correct.

He may really mean that he remembers things differently.

Ha, I heard about the Shroom thing from Buzz Burbank on the Don and Mike Show. He goes on to say that the other third? Becomes terrified and paranoid.

Another side effect is the propensity to vote democrat.

I don’t know. I never followed this. In fact, technically, I’m not supposed to be writing about it at all. The grand bargain struck between the left and right blogospheres back in ‘03 calls for all coverage of The Most Important Story Ever, a.k.a. Joe Wilson’s family tree, to be handled exclusively by the nutroots. One of Wilson’s kids gets run in on a drug charge? Can’t touch it.

Ha! But unfortunately the TV and print MSM also agreed to cover TMISE, which is why I've had to spend that last three years tearing my hair out at the ubiquitous discussion of it in even the most unavoidable forums. Byron York died for our sins.
