Henri-Levy's screed as printed this morning was a bad enough read on its own; a truly Europhiliac elegy to France's fallen hero (if only we gave a red monkey's ass about soccer, the Cup, or those who played in it). Hey, what other outcome would you expect when throwing 11 Frenchies on their own in a field in the middle of Berlin, sans Americanes or Anglais? But I digress. Pretentious French author-philosophers with glass fetishes shouldn't throw stones. Euros. Feh!
