The subject of our very first Vent is back home in Beijing. Ethan Zuckerman and Rebecca MacKinnon, who led the blog crusade to have him released, are celebrating.

I’ll probably be fired for that awful, awful pun in the headline, so I’m gonna go pack up. It’s been fun, kids.

You’re fired!

Nah, we can’t do without the wit of Allahpundit. Your wit is a great counter balance to the seriousness of Bryan.

Another way of looking at it is to say that Allahpundit is to HotAir as FlavaFlav was to Public Enemy. They both bring a touch of levity to their respective groups who would other wise have collapsed under the weight of their own seriousness.

I can’t believe I just compared Allahpundit to FlavaFlav…

Just kidding. ;-)

Oh, and Bryan? You rock too. :-)

Whatever happened to Stadler from that first day.
Pablo, did the two of you run off towards the sunset together?
I still think he(stadler) was a plant so MM & Co. could establish some extra rules, rules that we could better understand after witnessing the punishing, tediously lengthy e-dialogue he created.
It seems like so long ago now, yet so near.
Congrats to all at Hotair.
It does seem time to fire someone tho.

If I did, shooter, I’m back. And we didn’t go anywhere together. No Brokeback blogging on my machine. ;-)

I actually liked that someone from that frame of mind looked at what they were doing in an argument and decided they didn’t like it. Unique and refreshing.

Allah, the headline was OK. The Wu-hoo was gratuitous.

Heh.

Allah, please don’t go-what if something happens next week that needs your special comic touch to be properly ridiculed?
I mean, what if Murtha or Kerry opens their yaps again? I hope you stick around.

Regardless of the pun, that is excellent news about Hao Wu.
