Kim Strangelove

From our friend Pete at Bald Mountain Summit.

Kim Strangelove

That’s Diamondhead on Oahu in the background. Lil Kim’s big missile was apparently headed for Hawaii.

A North Korean missile launched on Wednesday was aimed at an area of the ocean close to Hawaii, a Japanese newspaper reported on Friday.
Experts estimated the Taepodong-2 ballistic missile to have a range of up to 6,000 km, putting Alaska within its reach. Wednesday’s launch apparently failed shortly after take-off and the missile landed in the sea between the Korean peninsula and Japan, a few hundred kilometres from the launch pad.

But data from U.S. and Japanese Aegis radar-equipped destroyers and surveillance aircraft on the missile’s angle of take-off and altitude indicated that it was heading for waters near Hawaii, the Sankei Shimbun reported, citing multiple sources in the United States and Japan.

The liberals want us to sit down and have a one-on-one dialogue with that nut.

Update (Allahpundit): Dan Riehl relays an intriguing theory from last night’s John Batchelor show. Could China have ordered the launches?

The liberals want us to sit down and have a one-on-one dialogue with that nut.

The liberals also didn’t want us to be protected by any missile defense shield whatsoever. We should remember that this November. (And President Bush should be reminding voters about the opposition to missile defense by Democrats.)

One rocket, one Pyongyang, one boom. Talks over.

We did sit down with him… unfortunately we sent Jimmy Carter and Madelene Not to Bright. I thought they already settled all this!

Instead of criticizing this poor man we should be filled with sympathy for this vertically challenged person. It should also be understood that when girls call him “shorty” they are not referring to his height. Thus feelings of inadequacy are easily transferred to overt manifestations of hostility as represented by the Taepodong missle. I also have it on the best authority than Li’l Kim has a secret crush on Janet Reno. He was shooting off his Taepodong to impress her. Imagine the embarrassment at being revealed to have a failed, impotent Taepodong–and in front of the whole world!

maybe we can send Cindy Sheehan and Jimmy Carter over there to talk to him. yea, that would work.

Would have been interesting if the missile finished its flight. Even more interesting if it over shot and actually hit a populated area in Hawaii.
I am sure that Kerry would demand that we pull out of Iraq immediatly and appologize to Kim Ill for intercepting his missile with our island. Ward Churchill would say that the little hawwain eichmans got what they deserved by not reunifiying hawaii with N. Korea when they had the chance, Ted Kennedy would be screaming that the Anti missile defense system should be scrapped immediatly because we didn’t use it, and Pelosi would figure out how to blame it all on Bush.

Can someone please explain to me

A: How is targeting a rocket toward Hawaii not an act of
war!

B: Why should we not whack this nutjob right now?

Lastly, does anyone think that we may have helped that rocket fail after launch? Quick call the NYT so they can report on how we did it!

Hell, Kerry would have us pull out of Hawaii.

Whenever they show Kim I always wonder where “Little Me” is, and then I realize that he is Little Me. Seriously, this guy is straight out of an old James Bond movie. He just needs a cat to carry around with him all the time.

For some reason your comment reminded me of Madame Secretaryknocking back champaign with the Dear Leader.

Without the hair there’s even a strong resemblance between the two.

I agree we should hit this guy and hit him hard. GWB has no backbone.

I wonder how everyone will feel if they launch one with a warhead which is impossible to determine.

If they did hit the rocket we should not tell them about it.

ScottyDog on July 7, 2006 at 1:20 PM

I disagree that GWB has no backbone. What he’s got is brains. NK is not that much of a threat…..yet…..and GWB knows it. The best thing to do is let ‘Lil Kim have all the rope he wants to hang himself with. What we need to do is stop providing any aid – humanitarian or otherwise.

What ‘Lil Kim is after is attention. He is trying to follow his father’s playbook of using blackmail for food and financial aid. And as long as he continues to get it, he’ll continue with his nonsense because he knows it will get him what he wants.

Now, the next time he fires a missle toward the US or any of its territories, we need to fire two missles. One to knock his missle down and the other to take out the enemy launch site. Then lets sit back and see what plays out.

While it’s frustrating to me that we’ve not taken this madman out in a surgical strike already, I belive that W. has it right.

He has to do the utterly useless diplomacy thing and ‘get the UN and all our allies onboard, rather than going it alone’, (never mind that the two party talks between the US and NK that the brainless lefticrats are chirping about are the very definition of going it alone… sheesh).

I don’t think it’ll work, and I think ultimately we will have to go in pretty much by ourselves and remove yet another evil little dictator and his deadly toys, and free another shamefully oppressed people. And once again we will be condemned for it.

And speaking of the spineless and thoroughly islamic UN… did you notice how quickly they came up with a condemnation of Israel for defending itself against daily rocket attacks? Disgusting.

The UN is much worse than the League of Nations. It does much more harm than good.

And the libs want the UN to be the center of the one world government. Remember that this November, and in November of 2008.

Here’s some of that rope I was talking about….

North Korea considers sanctions against it as a declaration of war, its deputy ambassador to the United Nations was quoted as saying by South Korea’s Yonhap news agency late on Friday.

Defying near-universal condemnation of its latest firings, North Korea has vowed to carry out more launches and has said it will use force if the international community tries to stop it.

On Friday, Pyongyang threatened Japan if Tokyo did not lift its sanctions. Japan has banned a North Korean ferry from entering its ports for six months as part of a package of initial sanctions.

‘Lil Kim reminds me of a Chihuahua barking at a Rottweiler.
