I worry that most of the people in the Middle East are too addicted to being slapped around by a strong man and too lacking in moxie to realize they must do what it takes to get a handle on Islamic religious leaders. The Islamic dogma is “all the worlds knowledge lies within the Koran”. (What about NFL football, duck calling, and Spanish verbs?) At some point, Middle Easterners are going to have to cowboy up and take the wheel or remain intellectual and cultural road kill under some strong man.

We oughta let Israel handle our light work (syria) for us while we take out the iranian mullahs in a coordinated attack. They hit gaza and syria as we hit iran from Iraq and Afghnistan. We could help Israel by also hitting syria from Iraq. Two down simultaneously (‘at the same time’ for you lefties). That’d be four muslim countries now in the Free catagory.

Think about this: Syria’s hold on Lebanon has only been possible through the support of Iran. Iran also finances Hamas and empowed the PA. Iran also has been sending money/fighters into Iraq to contribute to the “insurgency”-actually they are pawns being used to frustrate our “Chessgame”, and the entire world changes in a hurry if:
Israel, to protect itself, takes out the Iranian Nuke capabilities,(Check) or
we topple the government as we did Hussein’s regime.(Checkmate) The Iranian people do not want to remain under the thumb of the Mullahs anymore than the Iraqi’s loved Hussein. The older iranians remember the social advances under the Shah. The younger ones see freedoms next door in Iraq and Afghanistan, and want to enjoy them also.
President Bush has said it many times: People desire to be free. A free world is a world free from war. And it could happen in our lifetimes.

Of course they are Kevin! You don’t think that a group of murderous thugs would behave murderously thuggish toward Shalit do you? They love the international prisoner conventions. In fact, I believe I heard somewhere that Hamas has decided to use rubber tipped rockets when they launch at Israel, plus less than lethal suicide belts just so they don’t traumatize their Jewish victims during their attacks.
