Like, the phone numbers of Iraqi government officials.
Abu Musab al-Zarqawi had the phone numbers of senior Iraqi officials stored in his cell phone, according to an Iraqi legislator.
Waiel Abdul-Latif, a member of former Prime Minister Ayad Allawi’s party, said Monday that authorities found the numbers after al-Zarqawi, leader of al Qaeda in Iraq, was killed in a U.S. air strike on June 7.
Abdul-Latif did not give names of the officials. But he said they included ministry employees and members of parliament.
Can’t say it’s surprising.

Nor was it surprising that the ringtone was ‘Rock the Casbah’. One other not so surprising number was 867-5309, 867-5309.

Thanks to Ann Coulter, I’m curious to know if he had Dean’s number!

Sounds like good advice for the NYT.
President Bush was right “…you’re either with us or against us”.

Do you think the phone records might give some useful info? Thanks MSM.

I wonder if he had the AP, CNN, MSNBC, CBS, NBC, ABC and Reuters on rapid dial.

I am sure he had Keller’s private number at the number 1 position in his speed dial.

Of course he had howard dean’s number in there. Somebody had to inform him of his PREVIOUS promotion (to #49) after all!
I just wish Ann would have let us know what the position number for the clintoon is. If she broke the top 20 that’s probably grounds for an airstrike even on US soil!

I’m not buying it until I see what this info is and how Abdul-Latif came by it.

Wow, he knew Jenny.

Is it safe to assume that the people in his phonebook are in cahoots with him? I can’t think of any other reasonable explanation, but on the other hand, I would assume that we are monitoring all phone calls over there (please don’t look into it NYT!). If we are, why didn’t we know about the collaboration?

They must have had a lot of trust in the cell phone company they were using.
I wonder if they used that company that the bin laden family business and some Democrats like Mondale were linked to.

The most interesting number on his phone? One that traces to a cave in Pakistan. We might be one step closer to pulling another one out of a spider hole!

Wonder if he had Bill Keller and Cindy Sheehans number in there as well?

Probably has a bunch of 1-900 numbers in there.
“Oh yeah baby, I’m putting on my burka, slowly sliding it up to cover my whole body so you can’t see anything. mmmmm yeah.”

Come on gang! Don’t it sound a little strange that “a member of the former PM’s party” had this information?
I smell a rat!
“Waiel Abdul-Latif, a member of former Prime Minister Ayad Allawi’s party, said Monday that authorities found the numbers after al-Zarqawi, leader of al Qaeda in Iraq, was killed in a U.S. air strike on June 7.

Simple enough, get the call records of cell sites, dates , times and numbers he called plus all the calls he received. That data is there, can we get to it?

I’m sure Bin Laden’s number (1-800-caveman) was in there somewhere (right before NYT, CNN, MessNBC, Al-Jazeera, Hamas, Ahmadinejad, Dean, Castro, Chavez, Kim Jong-Il, Sheehan, The Sheen Family, Michael Moore, Wash Post, LATimes, Kofi Annan, and Chirac).
