New Bin Laden tape: Iraq is the key to the whole region

posted at 4:08 pm on July 1, 2006 by Allahpundit

When’s someone going to take him aside and explain that Iraq’s a “distraction” from the real war on terror?

The message urged militants in Iraq to continue their fight.

“Stay steadfast and don’t leave Baghdad, otherwise all the capitals in the region will fall to the crusaders,” said the message.

SITE has a summary and video (sans subtitles). He warns the west not to interfere in the jihadization of Somalia, and tells Sunni terrorists in Iraq that it’s open season on Shiites. Not that they need any encouragement.

“I, Osama bin Laden, urge the John/Jack Murthas to fight on in our Intafada/Jihad/Fatwa against the Americans, even though the John/Jack Murthas say that ‘Americans’ means all of North and South America. Just the same, we aim to kill ALL Americans, from the porcine Michael Moore to the gay Infidel John Waters to the outspoken Jew ‘Babs’ Steisand to the capitalist pig (if we may borrow from our Communmist friends in Berekeley), to Cindy Sheehan…we wish you all to die. Fortunately, some of you don’t realize our motives and actually support us.”

“Stay steadfast and don’t leave Baghdad, otherwise all the capitals in the region will fall to the crusaders,”

Hmmmm ….. So osammy seems to think if Baghdad (Iraq) is successful at it’s first attempt at democracy the entire region may follow in it’s footsteps? Wow, that seems pretty significant to me.

Then it seems things have been way more successful then our one party media has led us to believe.

Old binny Laden seems to be in panic mode ….. pulling out the references to the crusades, which I don’t mind at all. We are after all, in a fight to save western civilization from 11th century barbarians.

See, even Sammy knows what the plan is. How come the Dems can’t figure it out?

“We will fight [US] soldiers on the land of Somalia… and we reserve the right to punish it on its land and anywhere possible,” the speaker says.

The war was already brought to America…remember 09/11?

UBL will just have more support next time from the dems and the NYT.

Has Madeline Halfbright offered her version of advice about Somalia?

This cowering cretin has become a blabbermouth of late.

I cant wait to hear this MSM spin. Iraq isnt inportant, there is no terror war in Iraq, the terrorists are only there cause we are, etc. How are the left 1/2 brains gonna ‘splain this one AWAY?
And the Dems?…They’re really not that bad, just the religion of PIECE. yup, they cut any infidel into pieces, thats what their prophet mohammed(pissbeuponhim and his half donkey/ass/demon/mutant thing he rides) asked them to do. A copycat religion and they cant even get that right.
Show your live ass face Bin Hidin, let me live up to my nickname.

Forgot about our non-terrorist terrorists in Florida. Yes, OBL did send this message to them as well, all inclusive was his message. BUT, wiat, they’re just kids, mean kids. Because we stopped them before they blew something up? Before they got their MONEY… money possibly slowed by recent NY Times articles(in the pubics best interest)(forgot the ‘L’ on purpose), we stopped them before they could build bombs with the aforementioned money. So, when will the Dems allow us to arrest these NTT’s ? After they blow it up and kill innocent people? Wait til they’re funded, armed and dangerous? Or anytime as long as the Times is somehow involved and able to write a piece for the paper?
AND lastly, did you guys in the MSM get that timeline for pullout from BinHidin? Or did he set a cut and run date you so adore? Didnt think so. So, ask him… I’m sure he’ll give you a reply.

Interesting that one of Howard Dean’s talking points is that Bush hasn’t been able to find Bin Laden, as if Bin Laden is THE one and only enemy in the “War on Terror.” If he (OBL) is actually THAT important, how will the Dems explain away his accurate assesment of the conflict?

From one of the linked AP reports:

Both attacks represented a major challenge to Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki’s vow to curb sectarian violence that threatens to plunge Iraq into civil war.

How many threatens to plunge into civil wars does this make now? I am starting to think this may indicate some wishful thinking on the APs part.

Nah, couldn’t be.

A quick glance at an adequate map of the Middle East reveals that, since the time of the Crusades, a Sea Power can dominate the Region from secure fortifications near two Major Cities~~ Damascus and Basra. Of course, the Dominant Power must be willing to punish instantly and appropriately any subversive activity by the indigenous populations. The unfolding situation, as soon as North Korea delivers a Nuclear Weapon to one of the Islamist-Fascist Hate Cults, which will then expunge an American Metropolis, will provide a test bed in Mecca for a brace of Minute-Man Missiles. Crusade must always trump Jihad.

Tough talk from a coward hiding in a cave. Either come on out and fight, cross back over into A-stan and fight our Soldiers or shut your trap. Wuss.

I’m very confused here.

I thought Iraq had nothing to do with the global “war on terror?”

I thought that, in fact, there were no terrorist in Iraq?

As a matter of fact – isn’t Iraq supposed to be a collosal waste of time … time we should be spending fighting terrorists elsewhere?

Clearly, Osama has not been paying attention to his Democrat talking points. He must not have gotten the latest Murtha memo.

See, Democrats? This is why you can’t win – failure to stay on message. Somebody call Osama, quick.

How many threatens to plunge into civil wars does this make now?

And for how long has there been sectarian violence between Sunni and Shia? Now it’s a burgeoning civil war?

Apparently, Iraq had no history prior to March ’03. If it’s happening now, Bush did it.

I wish we could show him that “One man’s jail cell is another man’s… jail cell.”

See the problem is that the Dhimmicrats have no problem with pandering and gratuitously repeating the talking points of OBL… but for some reason he doesn’t seem to respect their viewpoint. Oh wait, that’s right, that’s pretty much the definition of a dhimmi isn’t it?
