Friday Video: Blogs and BBQ

posted at 11:06 am on June 30, 2006 by Bryan

Today’s realVerse vlog will make you hungry. It’s about a Tennessee BBQ shack’s use of blogs to build buzz and bring in customers. Good stuff–both the show and the subject.

Now, where can I find some bbq?

One thing I miss about the South; the BBQ
A close second is good fried chicken

Can’t get those two things in California, but I’m sure my heart is happy about that

For Eastern NC-style BBQ…Wilber’s is the best.

Course the hairnet bedecked lunch ladies at Wilber’s have probably never even heard of, let alone commented on a blog.

More sweet tea shug?

Hard to dislike a cute girl who can smile while she talks. That’s hard to do. The only other person I know who can do that is my cousin (she’s a hard-core baptist). I wonder if God has a hand in those smiles.

My American flag is waving and I am gettin hungry for some barbeque. I think I will make a cherry pie (or buy one),
fill a cooler with ice, American beer, Dr.Pepper, 7-Up,
R.C. Cola, Orange Crush, and fire up the grill. Hot dogs are the appetizers. Served on seeded buns. The briskit is the the coup de grace, smoked for 10 hours. And don’t forget the potato salad, the shrimp salad, the slow cooked pinto beans………..mmmm….damn I am sooo hungry!!
