I was thought to be one of the best writers in my university in both academic papers and newspaper articles, I’ve published a thesis, twenty articles and two papers all held up to be good pieces and I’ve been writing for three sites for two years
And yet somehow I can’t find a job that pays me for my writing and this SOB gets paid to write stuff that would’ve caused me to get an F.

It would be wrong to call for genocide, but not so much to call for a standard ‘deadly smackdown’. I’m calling for that. Now.

I’ve never supported killing people indescriminately. But in the case of terrorists, and the Palestinians who support them, it’s not even remotely indescriminant. Too much damage. Too much death, in your name, palestinian. Too much evil. Time for the palestinian terrorists to meet their maker and ‘splain theirselves to him.

I’m not trying to incite hatred, and I’m not a Jew or even a Christian. But when 40+% of Palestinians vote for a terrorist organization to lead them, isn’t it fair to purge the earth of 40% of the Palestinians? Voting for a terrorist is pretty much the same as being one.

They do nothing, produce nothing… nothing, except try to kill Israelis. They won’t even grow their own food! How long do we have to try to coax them into humanity before we realize they are not part of it? I don’t know any Israelis personally, but I can tell you hoestly that if Canada kidnapped an American, I would be up in arms if we didn’t attack them. (No offense intended Canada. Just making a point.)

I hope I don’t get banned, but I’ve reached the tipping point. Enough is enough. Palestinians, it’s time for you to join humanity or be violently excised from it. Grow the f up quick. Your lives depend on it.

Anyway, if hating newspapers means hating the newspaper's city because Jews are highly represented there, than it's safe to say that newspapers hate blacks and Latinos if blacks and Latinos are underrepresented on the staff... The Chronicle needs to step up its quota program if they're going to be accusing people of racism. However, when San Francisco officially called that Christian rally in March “fascist”, that wasn’t because liberals hate Christians, it’s simply because they oppose fascists.

Classic left. It’s standard to hear that immigration is about hating Latinos, terrorism about anti-Arab paranoia, etc, but occasionally you get a beauty like this, where you blink upon reading it because you hadn’t even thought of an ethnic angle to it. Or at least, I blinked when I first heard this kind of thing, I’m used to it now.

Matthew Yglesias put it pretty clearly a while back:

“One notes that… the specific brands of success here [in a list of occupations where Jews are highly represented] correlate extremely closely to American conservatism’s most-loathed occupational categories. Lawyers, professors, intellectuals, civil servants, and the dastardly cultural elite.”

And sure, conservatives have their official reasons for opposing these groups, but the high representation of Jews among them is much more telling evidence of what’s really going on.

Yglesis was more judicious on the Chronicle’s town however:

“San Francisco is good for the Jews, and the Republican Party is bad for San Francisco. The fact that anti-SF sentiment is more likely motivated by hatred of gays and lesbians than of Jews is of little comfort, since we seem likely to get caught in the crossfire.”

Ah, much more fair.

I have been searching for a column by Ole Jon where he gets all rightously indignant about the IRS prying into peoples financial records trying to catch Rich Tax Cheaters(TM) and I just can't seem to find one. Can that be possible? Could he really be advocating stricter rules in going after terrorists that Rich Americans(TM)?
