I live in the largest muslim center in the US. There is an in-your-face radicalization going on right now. The number of women completely covered is increasing sharply. There is a lot less attempt to appear assimilated, and more overt displays of contempt like I havent seen since 911.

That is interesting. Here, were I live, there are many Muslims (some are Afghan-Soviet War vets). I find that the very young girls (pre-teen) wear the head scarf and long modified burka, and of course, many older women wear the tradional headscarf, dress, and some wear burkas. But the 18-35 range wear a mixture of conservative/revealing outfits-headscarfs and tight jeans, low cut tops, tight t-shirts, belly t-shirts, etc. Some even sport tatoos on the arm, feet, and on their boobs. I guess it depends on the area where they live, whether the parents to a certain extent realize that assimilation is necessary or….

it could be a plot to ease the harsh reputation of Islam by having Muslim women dress in more revealing styles to gain neighborhood trust until it is time to strike. Remember, terrorists do what they must in order to gain victory. The terrorists who walk among us are instructed to drop Islamic ways (drink booze, go to the dance halls, take in a topless bar now and then, etc) to assimilate and avoid suspicion.

I seem to recall a news report that after the 9/11 murders, a Saudi Arabian govt minister arrived and the women on his staff were wearing tight jeans, t-shirts, etc., clothing not permitted in Saudi Arabia.

Color me wrong…but doesn’t the Islmaic Puriatans consider Music to be herasey, and extreme physical punishment inflicted on those in possession of any???

Havok: Yes, Islamic Puritans are anti-music, etc., but it all depends on the need for a workable, justifiable double standard. Hence, if the need is there, religious double standards are OK, especially when terrorists are viewed as being heroes who want to destroy America, non-Muslims, and anyone who does not bow East when praying.

I’ve heard some troubling things about the Detroit area as well, although I am not in or arround that area. Can you say about when this sharp increase in radicalization and women in burkas appeared?

Don’t think K-rap (Kill-Kuffar-rap) will be banned by the Taliban. A major principle of Islam is ‘The enemy of my enemy is my friend’.

Funny, not, many adults hate rap so much they dont listen to the words unless they hear b**tch or h* or sex words so anti kuffars can turn up the volume in their cars and laugh when the smiling Kuffars don’t catch the message.

Like others here, what crossed my mind immediately was that these rappas ought to be thankful that they’re doin’ their spewin’ here, instead of in Taliban Afghanistan: first they’d get the sh*t beaten out of them, then get to watch while all their CDs and cassettes got destroyed. Which, come to think about it … oh, never mind.

Lastly, a minor quibble, truth-in-advertising wise: based on her pose, I was soooo hoping to see Michelle do some sort of rap dance – you know, like a cross between the Dance of the Seven Veils and the Hootchie-Koo. But, no. Darn! She does look good in camo, though … Michelle, you can share a foxhole with me anytime.

It’s moving from hidden buzz words like “science” sprinkled in rap lyrics to more overt expressions of support for jihad.

As mentioned above, music is how many young people define themselves and how they separate into cliques. In high school, the head-bangers, punk rockers, hip-hop heads, and hippies all defined themselves largely based on the music they listen to.

That being said, you underlying theme that it’s cultural influence should be taken seriously is on the money.

Regardless of how one feels about a class of music, disregard it at your peril.

I know this one lady who is fairly feministic. Yet I have caught her singing “Hard out her fo a pimp” and some other rap about “bitches and hoes”.
She see’s nothing wrong with these rap songs which dehuminise women into nothing more then a sexual object. But if you call her “Hun” she is ready with a swift kick in the nads, a law suit, or both. The rythm and beat drew her in, and she ignores the lyrics. I don’t think she is even aware she sings the words.
Music is powerfull, and the message gets through.

Malkin has the Jihad Rap on the Mohammed Mixmasters. It is time these hate-loving, terrorist-supporters are exposed and you will be shocked to know what is revealed in this video about our own home grown Jihad Rap-Mohammed loving mixmasters….
