I think these “nutjobs” don’t give two shits about the families of 9/11. As Anne Coulter has shown, they will do anything if it furthers their cause.

No – not at all. Let me clarify.

Whereas the rest of us can just laugh at the conspiracy fools, I suspect that for the families of the victims, the joke isn’t very funny. I’d guess that seeing the thousands of people who buy these ridiculous stories yakking on the Internet, trying to convince people that their loved ones were killed as part of some bizarre plot, probably causes the families a lot of pain.

I can’t imagine how they feel about the assertion that their loved ones actually flew to Cleveland and are still hidden in some underground bunker.

The point is that as ridiculous as it is – it probably enrages the families. Because some idiots do believe this stuff, and its a mockery of the actual victims.

And the liberal nutjobs don’t care about the pain they cause.

But I’ll bet it’s not funny to the families of the 3,000 dead.

I can’t imagine the pain this reckless moonbattery must cause them.

It was designed to take the impact of a fully loaded 707…not a 747.

Perfect. Just perfect. Jesus Christ was a 1960s social worker out to “help his fellow man”. Howie excels at explaining where liberals are.

The 767 did not exist back then, so how can someone foresee the creation of the 767 and design a building based on specifications that did not exist back then and without experimentation? Or could they have?

And why would Pres Bush go to such extremes as destroying the WTC just to go to war? He could have used “strategery” to come up with a less dramatic and less damaging plan for a reason to invade Iraq.

The fact that many saw the planes went in real time does not deter the nutcases from sliming Bush with this conspiracy cr$p. But the major conspiracy theory circled around some one planted a bomb inside the Twin Towers to bring it down. They claimed that the heat could not have brought down the towers. I just point out that the Twin Towers would have collapsed for sure with the weight of the planes in it, adding the heat and bad design. Almost none of the articles I have read included the weight of a 767 in their discussion.

Remember some nuts said the Apollo missions were all fabricated in a studio? I am not sure how we can place a laser reflector on the moon if we have not been there.

I find it fascinating that whenever someone bursts one of their conspiracy bubbles, they expand into new territory rather than reevaluating their original idea. “No planes! OK, remote control planes! It was Rove flying remote control planes! It was Rove, controlled by aliens, flying remote control planes (with holographic disguises) into a building secretly primed for remote detonation. Yea, that must be the truth…”

Another reason not to want National Health Care… there isn’t enough money in the treasury to cure these people.

And the NYT and LAT times considers them “insurgents” not terrorist… that would be profiling!

In the film I recalled they also cited the collision of a bomber into the Empire State Building but since the building was basically constructed of concrete over steel beams the building suffer no permenant damage. The comparison was made to emphasize the weakness in the design of the Twin Tower.

To put that in perspective, the Empire State Building was hit by a B-25 going maybe 300 mph. The B-25 was 50′ long, had a wingspan of 70′, and a maximum take off weight of about 40,000 pounds.

The 767 hit the Trade Center at close to 600mph, were 200′ long with a wingspan of 170′, and a max. take off weight of 450,000 pounds. They also were carrying about 20,000 gal of fuel.

I doubt the Empire State Building would have weathered that impact quite as well.
