Which suggests he thinks the program has some value too. [...]

The ranks of the MSM, and the NY Times is a great example, are filled with second and third tier intellects. Anyone familiar with the so called top schools of Journalism in America understands that their graduates generally reflect the bottom tier of the student gene pool.

It’s kind of equivalent to the US World Cup Soccer team. It can’t compete on an international level because the best American athletes pursue other sports.

The same is true for America’s best and brightest. They pursue other venues than Journalism. As a result, we end up with the current crisis.

We have a fifth column led by intellectual midgets engaged in activities that aid and abet our enemy during wartime.

Don’t waste your time trying to understand Keller’s motives or rationale. He is a nitwit.

Once again, why is it that the Valerie Plame “leak” story set off a prosecutor to go after republicans, and all these National Security breaching stories have yet to do so??? For crying out loud, MILLIONS of people’s lives are at stake here!!! Is taking down the Bush administration worth innocent Americans’ lives. These elitist liberals need to be made accountable for their irresponsible and criminal reporting. All that resulted from the Plame circus story was that she and her worthless husband got more time in the spotlight.

In a perfect world a group of people and organizations who are concerned about national security would take out a full page ad in say the USA Today condemming the NY Times and exhorting all employees of that organization who realize that the Times is selling out their own personal security in their blind hatred of the Bush administration to take a day off from work. Say July 7th. I mean everybody from the receptionists to those who deliver the papers and those who load the trucks in the warehouse to those who clean the offices. The reporters and editors can just sit in an empty building.
The second thing I would like to see if Chertoff making an announcement that the DHS will need to revisit the budget once again. Because of these leaks it will now be necessary to harden some sites that previously may have not needed the attention. Since there will be no increase in the DHS budget to cover these unexpected circumstances it will be necessary to shift funds from existing cities and programs. Make it clear that NYC will be losing even more from the budget because of the loose lips over at the Times.
Anyway like I said in a perfect world. . .

Sorry, guys; this one is our problem. Cheat me once, shame on you...cheat me twice, shame on me. We've all known that the Times works in opposition to this country and this administration since Bush first walked into the Oral Office. The Times has ~~cheated~~ screwed the American people and our military several times now, and this Administration has done nothing to find the leakers, nor to prosecute the Times. This is their own fault.

The 9/11 commisioners asked Keller not to publish. The Treasury Secretary asked him not to publish. The President asked him not to publish. Murtha said go for it, so he did.

But don’t think for a minute that this constitutes animus toward the administration. Oh no, Bill, I wouldn’t dream of it.
