I think far more Americans will denounce the Times for publishing information related to troop movement than will denounce them for publishing information on the wire transfer searches.

Another Unscientific poll is currently being run at . I ran across an interesting article on the Slimes at The Boston Herald. Not everyone is ignoring the Slimes, and the article gives all a bonus in mentioning Murtha.

NYSlimes insists that revealing the identity of ValGal as a “nobody” is much more of a crime than exposing the tracking techniques of terrorists.

Thick as thieves, too, are the LA Times, WaPo and WSJ. Why are their feet not held to the fire?

As usual, the NYT will move forward, ignoring pesky questions and pretending to moral high ground when actually they are close to running aground on the rocks of public opinion. Will there BE a NYT ten years from now that yields the power to sway public opinion (make up news)that they do today? The Old Grey Lady just ain’t what she used to be.

Some additional thoughts on the NYT advertisers poll:

1. Ask the question directly – don’t load the question to try to sway the answer.

2. Let the advertisers know that Hot Air will be publishing each advertiser’s response verbatim, including “no comment” responses.

3. Advise the NYT that Hot Air is conducting this poll.

The results might be interesting.

Perhaps Hot Air could conduct a poll of the largest NYT advertisers this week, to see whether or not they support the NYT disclosure of the SWIFT program.

MSM is into polling business. They can fix any poll, from exit polls to baby polls.

Kerry was hurt bad by their exit polls. I wonder how many liberals did not go to vole in Ohio, Iowa, and New Mexico because Kerry was shown to lead by as much as 5% in some exit polls, and that was in South Carolina and Georgia. It Was a land slide…that turned into a tsunami…
