This Truthout edition reminds me of Hal the Computer when Dave starting removing his memory cells:

I'm afraid. I'm afraid, Dave. Dave, my mind is going. I can feel it. I can feel it. My mind is going. There is no question about it. I can feel it. I can feel it. I can feel it. I'm a... fraid. Good afternoon, gentlemen. I am a HAL 9000 computer. I became operational at the H.A.L. plant in Urbana, Illinois on the 12th of January 1992. My instructor was Mr. Langley, and he taught me to sing a song. If you'd like to hear it I can sing it for you.

Getting Bush re-elected has put hundreds and thousands of liberals to the sad state that is displayed by Jason and Marc etal at TruthOut.

In complete denial and spaced out…in the Twilight Zone…

Which is why, despite my occasional disagreements with the President, I'm all for repealing the 22nd Amendment and electing him to a third term.

The entertainment value as liberals' heads explode everywhere would be priceless.

You've got to admit, it takes a special kind of brave insanity to report a story of clearly verifiable FACT - and then when that FACT turns out to be absolutely wrong, to continue to insist that you're right.

I mean let's face it, liberals are usually careful to cover themselves by only expressing opinions, and then using twisted logic to attempt to defend those opinions. For example: "But THESE WMDs are too small and too few, and NOT the WMDs we went to war for ... when we said WMD's, we meant BIG ones and SHINY new ones ... "

That sort of logic. The perpetual moving of the goal posts.

But in this story, they stated one simple fact. Karl Rove was indicted on May 12, 2006.

Sure, they tried to squirm - all that 24 "business hours" silliness.

But still, for once they argued a clearly FACTUAL position. Sort of like the Viet Cong finally deciding to stand and fight during Tet 1968 (and getting their asses handed to them).

So when the fact is wrong - what do they do? Why ... they just ignore the fact and insist they're right.

You gotta give 'em credit. That takes big brass balls (and big buckets of stupidity).

Then again, there are a few of them that still think Kerry will be inaugurated aaaaaaaaaaany day now (Hat Tip to the DUmmieFUnnies: http://dummiefunnies.blogspot.com/)

Hey Right.

I would suggest buying shares in the sex therapy trade. That is where all of the libs will be headed when the upcomming PEST outbreaks happen due to them not getting back the House, or Senate. Those 'therapists' were the ones who handled the cases from the '04' elections.

Just a thought.

Ok. Let's play How Do We Cover Up Like Rather Did...

First, they need to come up with an actual source. It doesn't have to be someone with real credentials so let's find a bum on the street, and offer him some booze or drugs if he will just sign off as The Source.

Next, we will start a rumor that someone in Rove's office was the one to hire this loser. That's right! Rove tricked us all!

Ok. Time to send everyone close to the story an e-mail so that we get the story straight.

What!?!? The bum died of a heart attack? Now we've really got Rove! He arranged this to cover up his crimes...

OMG! I have Got to stop going to those @#$! liberal blogs...

Those people still scare me.

No. Seriously. Hey - why are you pointing at me and laughing?

For the record, Jason Leopold is not acting alone on the Rove indictment story. All of TO's senior editors are participating in interviewing sources, verifying facts and vetting every sentence published before the story goes live.

I simply must see the flowchart for that process.
