The mole returns — briefly, to recommend Matthew Continetti’s and (especially) Matt Labash’s reports on YK1 in the new edition of the Weekly Standard. Labash will have you know that the people he met there were not, in fact, Dungeons & Dragons types.

In fact, they were World of Warcraft types.

I think the KOs attitude is catchy. Tom Vilsack is now blogging over at KOs and has bought into the paranoid notion that the 2004 election was stolen in Ohio thanks to Sec. of State Ken Blackwell. A lot of these politicos that are now hanging out with the KOs KOmmies will eventually find that it will BACKFIRE on them.

Extreme self-absorption.

Just wondering: did MoDo manage to get laid at this
historicval confab?

The NYTimes sent six people to cover this mess?

No wonder they’re in so much trouble.

Has their stock reached junk status yet?

Heh. That’s because the D&D types are getting so old that they’re turning conservative! It happened to me… ;)

Actually, that’s not entirely true, plenty of people on the official D&D forums lean to the left.

Yeah – I’m a lifelong gamer turned conservative too.

I guess I never could swallow the irony that so many other gamers do heroic things in a fantasy world on a daily basis, yet when it comes to actually doing those things in RL they dive under the table quicker than you can say “Gimme a Roll”.

Maybe it’s just me!

‘nother middle aged, Conservative, stay at home soccer MOM WoW player here. Yikes! Talk radio by day. Dragon killing with my hardworking hubby at night.

Stereotypes aside age is more of a factor in determining political alliances. The younger generation tends to regurgitate what they hear out of Hollywood and the music industry while us more “mature” gamers lean more to the right… in my experience anyways.

Very funny video for any gamers who haven’t seen it already…

The Dimm party is no longer the main stream. If the World was flat they would fall the edge. The Dimms are everything to all people. The left-wing freaks that they pander to will not win the Dimms elections. Bill Richardson for President? No I don’t thint so. The 2008 platform Global Warming, and running against Ann C, please…
