What reconquista? This reconquista:
Advocates of an open border between the U.S. and Mexico do their best to present a mellow American flag-waving image to the public. But when they gather in semiprivate, they communicate much differently to each other. Perhaps they need to be even more careful.
–
How do I know this? On Tuesday, I attended a panel discussion entitled “The New Immigrants Movement,” part of a “Take Back America” conference convened in Washington, D.C., by the left-wing Campaign for America’s Future. The event was open to anyone, although fewer than 100 people showed up. But to give you a flavor of the meeting, here are the surnames of the people on the panel: Lovato, Salas, Contreras, Lopez, Ramirez and another Lopez. All Hispanic – and some quite angry.
Consider the words of Roberto Lovato, identified as a writer for New American Media, describing itself as “the country’s first and largest national collaboration of ethnic news organizations.” Speaking first, Lovato declared that he had problems with the words “civil rights.” Why? In part because that phrase had been used by black Americans half a century ago – it was their term. But mostly, he continued, the term is inapt because today “a lot of the members of the movement were political revolutionaries in countries such as Nicaragua and El Salvador.” And that’s why, he concluded, “this is not just a civil rights movement – this is the northernmost expression of a continental rights movement.”
How about a kicker?
In fairness, no others on the panel were as vehement as Lovato – although none took issue with his radicalism. More typical was Rudy Lopez, from the group Wellstone Action, based in St. Paul, Minn. “In spite of the makeup of the panel,” Lopez told the audience, “this is not only a Latino movement.” But then he proceeded to discuss key electoral states, providing the robust Spanish pronunciation of California, Texas and “La Florida.”
That’s the moderate. He probably wouldn’t demand to fly the Mexican flag above the Lone Star. He’ll just call the whole state “Te-has.”

Between this movement, the Islamists and the corruption at the INS,we are in big trouble people. There is an active war to take America down the tubes.Very active.
bbz123 on June 15, 2006 at 12:48 PM
We are going to win that war by doing exactly what we’re doing here. Shining a light on the roaches for all to see.

A deadly and dangerous cancer metasticising around the country disguised by many names: Wellstone Action, New American Media, La Raza, MeCHA, etc. All have one goal, to take over and also to over populate, creating a majority of Hispanics, Latinos, Mexicans… Many names again for one primary purpose. INVASION and Revolution on US SOIL. But hey, they just want to pick our lettuce, right?

What happens when these idiots take over and realize no one is paying their way any longer? Who’re they going to beg for funding-themselves? HAH

I am so pissed off, and yet worried for my country. Anyone who believes the second gathering for Illegal Aliens showing thousands of US Flags was the Illegals idea, is brain dead. The REAL showing was the first march.( Illegals demanding US citizen rights) Thousands and thousands of Mexican flags w/ Che shirts galore. The ONLY US flags were US flags upside down, beneath Mexican flags. Indicating extreme danger and desperation. Maybe we do need a law to protect our flag.
Anyway, we are under siege.
.
Scream the alarm from every mountain top, go Paul Revere, the Mexicans are coming….no- THEY’RE HERE !!!!!
p.s. All that LA land crap w/Daryl Hannah(sic?) for the farmers…They’re all Illegals. Or “recently arrived Hispanics” as the MSM called them.

Not to sound too over the top, but it has to be said: Buy Guns — often. Learn to shoot well. If the SHTF, the only one that is going to be able to save you is YOU.
I’d like to remind all here that the federal governments primary duty is to protect it’s citizens from invasion, and they are not doing it. If you think they are going to protect you when these La Raza types go postal, you need to take something for the schizophrenia.

Aztlan, Al Queda, CAIR, NAACP. . .
If you think about it, actually each of these “organizations” is self-serving, racist, homophobic, hate-filled, blah, blah, blah. . .
It ain’t just the Mexicans, folks, although they are by far the worst, and biggest threat to our country’s heritage. The true danger is the rampant, blatant, utterly insane politically correct BALKANIZATION of America! Yes, Mexico is by far the biggest offender by virtue of the sheer number of illegal immigrants refusing to assimilate, but do not discount the Asian influx of humanity or that of any other ethnic or religious group that moves into enclaves and refuses to learn English and American ways.
Make no mistake. Any organization that forms and exists for the sole purpose of “bettering” a particular group or people at the expense of another, is indeed a detriment to this nation as a whole.
I can just imagine the screams of anguish, charges of racism, and 3,000 lawsuits from the likes of the ACLU if Caucasians formed a lobbying group and named it “WAFAWA” (White Americans for a White America).
Think about it.

Troy. . .
We need to defend ourSELVES. YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY RIGHT!
Which is precisely why they want to confiscate our guns. Once they do, we can throw rocks at “them,” and be just as successful, as were the Hungarians when the Russians drove into town with tanks.
ForYourEdification on June 15, 2006 at 1:24 PM
Multiculturalism is a code word for the AMERICAN culture to surrender… They are using the rights we fought for, and were the FIRST in the world to have, to try to take away OUR rights…
I do not now, nor have I ever judged a person by the color of their skin… but I do judge them by how they act. Act like a gang banger and I don’t care if your white, hispanic or black, your a gang banger… act in a civilized manner and join the American culture and you’ll be treated with respect.
This is NOT a racial issue… its an issue of culture, and I for one do NOT want their culture here.
We have a right, duty, and obligation to protect the culture our forefathers created, so our children can have a good life as well.

How’s that Balkanization concept working out in the Balkans?
Wonder why the idea is named that? Look at a map of Yugoslavia. This entire “multiculturalism” thing is an abberation on the concept of America. E Pluribus Unum. Out of Many One. One. Not six, twelve, or thirty-eleven. ONE. Maybe this needs to be taught in school. Fat chance, even though it says so on our money.

“To have a knife use a club, to have a sword use a knife”
If they succeed in taking guns Americans WILL do whatever it takes to overthrow the idiots. I won’t be among them though. I’ll have a collection of thouroughly ventillated sky-blue helmets with me as my honor-guard in Hell.
We’ve got to stop these idots who would ruin everything our forefahers fought for since the founding of our nation. Stop Illegal Immigration, Stop the Balkanization, Stop the ACLU.
In the words of Michael Savage “Borders, Language, Culture” this is likely to be the war cry in the next civil war.
Duty, Honor, Country

notice how the terminology for “illegal alien” has changed over the past few years:
illegal alien
undocumented alien
undocumented worker
guest worker
workers whose status is unverified (not kidding, I saw that one)
recently arrived Hispanics
See, the MSM has managed to remove any reference to the fact that they are illegal. Unbelievable.
pullingmyhairout on June 15, 2006 at 2:11 PM
Soooo…. just where is the “Bill” at in conference?
MSM hasn’t said a word about the Immigration Bill in a couple of weeks.
Romeo13 on June 15, 2006 at 2:51 PM
Their lust for the wealth and power which American represents to them is being destroyed by their efforts to gain that very wealth and power. This is insanity.
We can not sit back watch and expect these people to go away. There is no win to their efforts, everyone looses if they get there way.
Lawrence on June 15, 2006 at 3:10 PM
Romeo, the Dems and the RINOs are working behind the scene to try to bury this bill so the House GOP will not be able to use it as a platform…I suspect.
But you know we shall keep this bill alive and well…right?
Here is the bad news…Bush is helping them.

Just a reminder that it’s the ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS and a few legal nut cases that we are concerned about. There are millions of 2nd,3rd,4th..etc generations of Mexican Americans who are not a part of this movement. They don’t deserve to be thrown into a hate fest. The comment about shinning a light on the cockroaches is right. EXPOSURE is what they don’t want. Keep exposing!….REMEMBER…there are nearly 300 million LEGAL AMERICANS in our country..and most comply with laws, love their country, and love what we stand for….!!!!!!!!
SparkyFD on June 15, 2006 at 3:43 PM
All of the above comments illustrate why the illegal immigration issue is as important, if not more so, as the Iraq war or the war on terror. The RNC had better get it – soon.
dman on June 15, 2006 at 5:23 PM
Fair enough, Sparky, but the legals must stand with the rest of us against the illegals, to be credible.
dman on June 15, 2006 at 5:25 PM
Ain’t a damn thing we can do about it. Make one real substantial forceful meaningful move and you will land your ass in jail. The inmates are in charge and the guards enforce their will.
ecamorg on June 15, 2006 at 6:39 PM
There is something you can do about it. When the SHTF, and it will, shoot first… and often.

The twins were born in Los Angeles on Aug. 2, 2005, to Mexican parents who were visiting relatives in the United States. The girls’ mother, 23-year-old Sonia, said she didn’t realize she was carrying conjoined twins until she was hospitalized with an infection.
The couple extended their tourist visas so the twins could receive medical care.
BOOT THEM OUT!!!!!!

I believe in Ted Nugent’s style of gun control. Remember, keep plenty of ammo on hand too. When the illegals have a human wave attack, running out of ammo is not an option.
All the high and mighty BS goes away when the banging starts, and I’m too old to be a victim.

Anchor babies… The 14th Amendment states only if ALL LAWS were follwed, any baby born to an ILLEGAL is ILLEGAL.
One parent has to be a LEGAL CITIZEN of the US before any child born here is legal.
The 14th amendment is being ‘ignored’ or ‘dismissed’ by California and some other states. This must be stopped also.
in part “All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof,..”
.
Do we have a consitution attorney reader? Please let me know.
