The biggest problem with terrorism is that sometimes it works when everything else fails. Look at the King David Hotel incident. I’m afraid terrorism is here to stay because terrorists have the “Colonel Kurtz” mentality. Therefore, they need to be dealt with the same way.

It’s all well and good to say ‘stop terrorism, kill terrorists’ if there is a known finite source of terrorists. Then one could measure the success of the terrorist elimination mission by simple arithmetic. Unfortunately the actual numbers of terrorists and worse potential terrorists is not known unless one considers all of the 1 billion or so Muslims to be potential terrorists. If that is the case as I think it is that Islam is the spawning ground for terrorism, then how many terrorists must be killed before terrorism is stopped?

Hey, wait a minute you right-wing war-mongers! “Terrorists” have rights too ya know! They must be arrested by the police AFTER they commit a “crime”! They must be represented by a public defender and judged by a jury of their peers. How is it a crime to take pictures of a bridge? How is it a crime to buy fertilizer? Or to fly on airlines and take notes of every move the flight attendants make or spend too much time in the bathroom? No bombs went off, nobody got shot. The REAL crime is bombing Iraqi civilians from airplanes at 30,000 feet. Bush is the REAL terrorist! He’s taking away my freedom of speech and you right wingers need to shut up! George Washington was an insurgent! Corprate America! Vietnam! Fake moon landing! Wal-Mart! Global warming! blah blah blah … baaah baaah baaaaaaaaah

Until Americans realize that this “war on terrorism” is actually a war with Islam, we are just pissing into the wind. After Islam had spread the first time, it took the Crusades and a couple hundred years to force their false religion and aspiring world domination back into the sand Nations. They are venturing out again, same tactic, but whole different world. This time, infiltrating as the “religion of peace”, and every fool actually believes that because of political correctness too, right up until the demands start being made. Then you find yourself in the situation some of Europe is in now, wondering what to do with a religion, and peoples who follow it, that is “incompatable” with their Country.

So what does the United States do? Why, we invite them into our military and now we are going to build Mosques for them of course. What was it that someone said a long time ago, about not learning from history and being forced to re-live it?

Alot of Jews are liberal democrats more or less because we’ve always been and it hasn’t been until GWB took office that American policy on hunting terrorists mirrored the Israeli policy. Jews still think highly of Carter for helping to bring the Peace Treaty with Egypt (that’s the ONLY fracking thing I like about Carter) and Clinton for helping to arrange ‘peace’ (albeit this is starting to backlash) whereas Reagan was seen as too chummy with the Arab powers and Bush I is hated for holding Israel back from attacking Iraq after the scuds hit. Jews are more and more becoming Conservatives but, like many other groups, its a slow process to reverse 50+ yrs of thinking

Until we can track them down, we cannot control them.

Tracking them down is 99% of the game. To kill them just requires a drone with a missile.

The liberals understand this well so they want to kill off the NSA programs.

Why the L & E dislike it when Jews defend themselves?
Maybe it would legitimize the State of Israel.
They would have to accept the Jews established right to exist as a Sovereign State, and that they can defend themselves.
Just my guess.

One of the initial reasons I was supportive of Bush in the war on terror was the claim that we would support nations that fought terrorists and punish nations that harbored them. If we apply that simple test then we recognize that Israel is our friend, Hamas is not. I also will not be investing in Somalian real estate futures.
I like simple, not nuanced, ideas. “Millions for defense, not one cent for tribute!” “Unconditional surrender!” “Stop terrorism, kill terrorists!” works just fine for me. I am not concerned about their psychological need for esteem. I want their ideology to be seen as a failure. Dead terrorists seems to accomplish that just fine.
