Video: Hillary!’s Take Back America speech

Lots of blog hullabaloo about the Shrill One’s speech in DC this week, so we thought we’d cut a few highlights and preserve them for posterity here. Honestly, most of the speech is pretty dull. But I found three points of interest that may shed some light on this fall’s elections and 2008.
First, Hillary! says we should support our troops…and the leftwingers in the audience boo her.
There’s one more clip I’ll add once YouTube gets its act together.
Update: YouTube got its act together, so here’s the last clip.
It’s the shrill crescendo. Her joke about yelling at the TiVO is as close as she gets to a sense of humor. Savor the political acumen on display:
“Stand up for winning elections.” You can’t train someone to be that astute. It has to come naturally.
Update: Hillary’s problem, in Time. Democrats doing the touchdown dance for 06 and 08 may find their game-winner called back. You know a party has problems when John Kerry fires up the shock troops.
(h/t the boss)
Update: I love how liberals call Michelle a liar for posting this but don’t bother to read the by-line of this very post. Michelle didn’t write it, nor did she edit the video. I did. Read the byline, people. If you have a problem with this post, take it up with me.
There is a liar or two here, alright. They write for a couple of lefty blogs that just linked to this post and blamed Michelle for it. Well, either they’re lying or they can’t read. Take your pick.
I guess the lefties want to pretend that Michelle wrote the post and that she edited the video so that fools like Mahablog can call her a “shameless lying b*tch.” When the facts don’t favor you, resort to personal insults and profanity. It doesn’t convince anyone, but apparently such childish tantrums feel good. You folks sure resort to them often enough so it must do something for you.
Plus, the lefties can’t hear, either. Because Hillary did get booed when she said we need to support the troops. You fellas can spin it all you want, but it’s on the tape.
Next, you’re going to tell us that Dean didn’t scream too, right?
Update: By the way, Crooks & Liars and Mahablog–TIME magazine has our back.
But then she came to Iraq. “I do not think it is a smart strategy,” she said, “either for the President to continue with his open-ended commitment, which I think does not put enough pressure on the new Iraqi government, nor do I think it is smart strategy to set a date certain.” Members of the crowd yelled, “Why not?” There was loud booing. It was almost impossible to hear Clinton as she spoke over the crowd to declare, “I do not agree that that is in the best interest of our troops or our country.” After her speech, as Clinton was walking along the stage and shaking hands with attendees who had rushed to meet her, more than a dozen members of the crowd stood and started chanting “Bring the troops home! Bring the troops home!”
Emphasis added so you can’t miss it. But I really wouldn’t expect people who can’t tell the difference between “Michelle” and “Bryan” in a byline to be able to comprehend what TIME’s correspondent has written.

As a certain blogger would say, “Heh”.

I can see three separate Demo camps.
One camp is led by Hillary Not-Bill Clinton…with the moderate Democrats and also support from the RINOs, including BUSH!
The second group is led by Ted I-Forgot-Last-Night Kennedy, Kerry, Dean…the Pro open border, pro-Amnesty, pro abortion, pro gay…they are the liberal group.
The third group is led by Al Internet Gore. They have the Green Party and Nader’s support. They are the Tin Foil Moonbats.
One group have been left out and is now feeling pretty cold…the black caucas. Some has fallen to GOP….
It is getting interesting….I told you that DEMO will be torn apart long before we kick them RINOs out. Hillary has big plan…she wants to take them RINOs into her wings. That is why Bush called her husband “brother”. That is why she was wining and dining all sorts of people in the GOP RINO camp.
If I were a liberal she would be my liberal public enemy no.1.

Fortunately she doesn’t realize that she sounds like a nagging shrew. The more volume she projects the more it sounds like the dishes and frying pan are about to fly.

For crying out loud! Please post a warning notice on any video featuring this bovinette to lower speaker volume! I now need an eardrum replacement! (Wonder if that’s going to be covered under Universal Healthcare!)

I love to see the liberals and the moonbats getting on her case.
They should…they really should. I am all for it…LOL
The new party, what do they call it…Unity 08?….I am all for that too…LOL
Man…. “do do do de dah dah …breaking up is hard to do…”

NO ‘open ended’ troops in Iraq AND ..NO ‘date certain’!
DUH,,WHAT? beam her up Scottie.
.
If she was dodging a question while spewing this shrill rhetoric, it would be a dictionary version of “the Left”.
Dodge Q’s, distract and confuse any and all issues= no real plan.

The more she plays games like this, the less chance she’ll have to win the Dem. nomination. She’s trying to play both sides but she says something to piss off the left wing one day then two days later pisses off the moderates by screeching. Bill Clinton had an amazing talent for being able to play both sides and have both sides support him (moderates and liberals), Hillary, unless she learns quickly, will not and then we can see where the real power in the party is.
Defector01 on June 14, 2006 at 12:01 PM
Watchig her speak constantly reminds me of why I doubt she will end up their nominee. She sounds like a raver every time she speaks! She does not sound like a deliberative person, but does sound like a ranting lunatic — even by the SOUND of her voice alone, much less what she is saying!
I think people wince when she takes to a podium, even if they like her!

It’s amazing to me to hear the constant chorus by the libocrats about “exit strategy”, and “no plan”, and “ill-concieved and executed war”, and “the majority of US citizens are against this war”. So desperately do they want those things to be true.
They’re falling all over themselves trying valiantly to surrender as quickly as possible when we are clearly winning this must-win War on Terror.
The GOP must hold these disgusting defeatists up for all to see and shine the harsh light of reality on their ill-conceived messages of irresponsible surrender in the face of demonstrable victory.
The dems can NOT be trusted to protect and defend U.S. citizens from the very real threats we face, both immediately and those gathering on the horizon with China and Russia. Right now the dems have more in common with Fwance than their American ancestry.
Whatever happened to the American can-do spirit? To having the backbone and resolve and maturity to finish a job, especially a very difficult and dangerous job, dispite the inevitable obstacles that happen in real life?
By pulling out prematurely, (bet that happens on the left a LOT), it would only reinforce the view of our enemies and the rest of the world that America has the attention span and committment level of a gnat. And that America can only be relied upon to rush in, ham-fistedly screw things up, and then leave a horrible mess in its wake when an instant-microwave-dinner-fix for any difficult situation cannot be guaranteed in writing to happen on a specific date. It is a dangerous ’strategy’ on the dem’s part. Because when it inevitably fails, they’ll simply surrender and leave us to fend for ourselves.
It made me laugh to see hillery so confidently straddle that particular fence, re staying and finishing the job, and setting a hard date as to when that’ll be done. Completely and transparently duplicitous. I’m glad that people are able to see and hear this for themselves.
I have faith in the American People. They’re not as stupid as they’re being told they are.

Hillary’s voice is like a shovel scraping on concrete, I shiver all over. I can’t wait for the “08″ Dimm primaries. The Dimmocrap party is bought and paid for by the far left-wing kooks like Mon.org. THE FAR LEFT IS THE BASE OF THE DIMMOCRAPS. Clinton, Kerry, Gore will have to pander to the base, if they hope to get the nomiination. The Dimms have Sold Their Souls.

What do you expect? She is running for prez and needs to be on both sides of EVERY issue. HOWEVER, this tactic did not work for JFn’Kerry. We must always remember what her evil other half did to us…and never forget that this whole war on terrorism could have been addressed by them back at the time of the first WTC bombing. They will FOREVER be trying to back track on that and we must never allow her to spin that crap any other way. She is anxious to make this a Socialist country and she will succeed if she gets into office. And if she succeeds, for the next four year we will be treated to a never ending march of social misfits, sexual deviants and any other commie issue she can dream up. VOTE anyone but her….ANYONE!!!!!

Did you hear it? How are Liberals readying their sheeps clothing this time? They are “*Progressives*”!
Progressive is the New Blonde.
If the conversation lulls (?) when you are talking with a Progressive, you might ask them:
“So, what are progressing from?”
“Did you have to progress because what you were doing wasn’t working?”
“What do you wish to progress to?”
“Are you the New Blonde?”

Hillary may now be the favorite Moonbat, but watch for other liberal loons to move into her turf.
The party and people once known as “Democrats” have been commandeered and destroyed by those known as the liberal left. AlGore’s movie, his talk show appearances, and most recently Tipper’s announcement that she is “ready” for another White House run, are leading indicators that something is stirring. Look for the likes of AlGore, Kerry, Daschle, and perhaps even the head lunatic Howard Dean to seek the nomination.
Hillary is far too “moderate” for the left and her hidden socialistic and Marxist thinking will eventually surface and expose her radicalism. Only crazies like Dean are “acceptable” to these dolts and maybe, just maybe, they will all self-destruct.

I loved your comment!! I laughed right out loud. “For crying out loud. Please post a warning… ” That was great.

I did use the word “shrill” quite liberally. What else is a blogger supposed to do?
Bryan on June 14, 2006 at 12:53 PM
Hillary “I am for NO ‘open ended’ troops in Iraq AND for a NO ‘date certain’!”…and I don’t have a strategy whatsoever…but I like to criticize this President, and yes, I’m shrill. The base likes it that way!
In the end, I don’t think she will run for president. She feels too elitist and entitled, to go through the primary grunt. She won’t be coronated – nothing else will do.
Glad to see some commentators putting “progressive” in quotes, when referring to liberals. Please, never, ever use the term without quotes (avoid it altoghether, if at all possible). There is nothing progressive about them!
In the meanwhile, enjoy every word in this article about the last weeks’ events:

The Bloated Swine has to be the absolute worst speaker.
Fingernails on a chalkboard sound like a lullaby compared to her screeching.

Hillary Clinton has got to the most overrated woman in history! To any honest observer, she is a joke.
Even her natural supporters can see that now.
KT McFarland is running against Clinton in New York.
Please lets start supporting KT so we can send the Clintons back to Arkansas.

Progressive as in progress right over the edge of a precipice to be dashed to pieces on the rocks below, but hey, anything is better than virtue and morality right? I mean just because we became the greatest most powerful country in the world via our system rooted in Judeo-Christian faith is no reason not to scrap it. If it works, break it! That’s progressive!
ecamorg on June 14, 2006 at 10:11 PM
If the majority of Americans vote for that woman in 08, then America’s problems run far deeper than terrorism and Iran nukes. You can’t fix stupid and stupid is forever. Maybe 20 million illegals fresh from amnesty will push her over the top.
Ted Nugent needs to offer Hillary a stint at his training camp to reintroduce her to the law of the jungle.

The people over at Crooks and Liars have completely made fools of themselves over this.
What’s really striking to me is the difference in tone between this site and that one. Their commenters have all the gravitas of a group of junior high boys trying to one-up each other in the school locker room.
Then there’s the high school sophmore Atrios who linked to the Crooks and Liars story under the headline “Racist Michelle Malkin is a Liar.”
These people want to run the country? Yikes.
John on June 15, 2006 at 2:29 PM
BWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAH!
LOL!
Are you people serious? You people throw around just as much – if not more – junior high invective as the left does. Let’s see what kind of gems I can find just in the thread alone:
—————————————————
easy87us: “Ted I-Forgot-Last-Night Kennedy” “Tin Foil Moonbats”
pistolero: “nagging shrew”
Dread Pirate Roberts VI: “bovinette”
NRA4Freedom: “Idiot”
birdman: “The Dimmocrap party…left-wing kooks THE DIMMOCRAPS”
doingwhatican: “The Bloated Swine”

Oh…but of course, you guys never resort to insults and personal attacks. LOL!

Code Pink boos Hillary when she says we ‘must support our troops’.
Leftists link to this post, call Michelle a liar without reading the byline as to who really wrote it, and when we respond to it in comments, we’re called on the carpet for ‘name-calling’.
Guess we’re not allowed to respond; that’s how they set it up; just as they parade their victims in front of us who have the ‘moral high ground’ and we’re not entitled to respond to those, either.
‘do as I say and not as I do’ applies.
Cao on June 17, 2006 at 1:00 PM
I say they were booing her, but as she was supporting the troops at the moment, perhaps it is a boo by proxy.
