Nicely read. I hadn’t been paying much attention to the lefty blogs obsession with Rove; So, not to do too much of what the left does in attacking personal appearance, but can someone please tell me what the hell is up with those stupid glasses that Luh luh leopold was wearing? The boy with the stupid hair from wonkette, Purina, whatever his name was had them on too.
austinnelly on June 14, 2006 at 9:46 AM
I wish I could see Leopold, Pelosi, Kennedy and all their liberal elitist pals stomping their feet this morning in frustration. Ha Ha, too bad. You lose AGAIN.
pullingmyhairout on June 14, 2006 at 9:48 AM
Great job to all involved with this issue of VENT. Michelle your hubby must like you reading christmas stories to him. It has so far been a wonderful week.
br8veheart on June 14, 2006 at 9:49 AM
Man, it’s been a funny week! Great Vent, guys!
Pablo on June 14, 2006 at 9:59 AM
Is Malkin wearing a black nighty in that video? If so, that’s totally cool with me.
Just sayin’…

I’m just jealous of Michelle’s creativity:)
wytammic on June 14, 2006 at 10:18 AM
LOL! Great stuff. BTW, a friend of mine named Charles Henrickson has also written some GREAT Fitzmas songs including, “The Twenty-Four (Business) Hours of Fitzmas:”
On the twenty-fourth hour of Fitzmas
My truthout gave to me:
Twenty-four bonus hours
Twenty-three bogus sources
Twenty-two sealed indictments
Twenty-one new excitements
Twenty Leopolds leaping
Nineteen FReepers freeping
Eighteen crowded dockets
Seventeen Sonny Crocketts
Sixteen corks a-popping
Fifteen-hour meeting
Fourteen Freudenschades
Thirteen Pipers piping
Twelve DUmmies griping
Eleven Roves a-packing
Ten dollars lacking
Nine shots at Skinner
Eight crows for dinner
Seven crews amassing
Six days a-passing
Five LOUSY TROLLS!
Four Patton Boggs
Three fresh blogs
Two marching frogs
And a Pitt ribbed in a parody!
pjcomix on June 14, 2006 at 10:19 AM
Speaking of Pitt …. have there been any confirmed sightings of that guy? Have he and Leopold been sent to an undisclosed location? Can they stay there?
And although I hate to be mean I really have to ask – and its seems fair since the tolerant truthy ones like picking on Karl Rove’s appearance – am I the only having trouble deciding if Jason Leopold is actually a man or a woman?
I keep having flashbacks to the “It’s Pat!” skits from Saturday Night Live.
Seriously. Do we have confirmation he’s a dude? A dudette? And the next time one of the equality-for-women-not-Republicans left makes a misogynistic comment about Ann Coulter’s Adam’s apple … can I show them a picture of Leopold and ask them to help me determine his sex?
Professor Blather on June 14, 2006 at 10:23 AM
pjcomix, most impressive!
Well done Michelle, very funny
Defector01 on June 14, 2006 at 10:48 AM
I’m sorry, but I don’t think I heard a word MM said!
Dread Pirate Roberts VI on June 14, 2006 at 10:48 AM
Now that’s funny!
Great job guys! Love the outfit, Michelle!!! groovy baby!
Brian on June 14, 2006 at 11:00 AM
Gosh, isn’t gloating so much fun!!! :) Please make sure the libs at truthout.org see this … they need to be as thoroughly humiliated as possible.
P.S. I second Brian’s comments on the attire ;)
thirteen28 on June 14, 2006 at 11:30 AM
Very good Michelle.
Just adds some icing to the cake in what is a disasterous week for the moonbat blogs.
jzab on June 14, 2006 at 11:31 AM
I’m not sure if I wanted the camera to zoom in, zoom out, or pan. Maybe I should just get my nitro-tablets. …what was she talking about???

Wait to the November elections. I belive the libs are going to find a lump of COAL in thier stockings. “Boo Freaking Hoo”!
birdman on June 14, 2006 at 11:55 AM
Ell Oh Ell. Great job.
p0s3r on June 14, 2006 at 11:55 AM
If liberals had any shame, this Vent would be killer. Too bad that the only effect will be to give us on the right a giggle.
MCPO Airdale on June 14, 2006 at 11:57 AM
Heh!
Glad to see I’m not the only one who was…
…distracted…
venmax on June 14, 2006 at 12:09 PM
Beautiful! I wonder if the expected upsurge this month of BDS after the Rove news is covered under medicare’s psych provisions?
chicagoray on June 14, 2006 at 12:24 PM
Laughing all the way!
Ann on June 14, 2006 at 12:55 PM
Great vent,Michelle! Liberals having their hopes dashed brings back warm memories of the 2000 and 2004 Presidential elections. Ah-bask in the warmth-Aahhh
Doug on June 14, 2006 at 1:05 PM
PS. MM, will you please straighten out those wardrobe elfs? What, are they all women? One wears a red nighty for Christmas. A RED nighty!
Dread Pirate Roberts VI on June 14, 2006 at 1:05 PM
hey Joe, since you solved the yellowcake caper, can Val get you a job trying to find out why the Camp Pendleton 8 are in jail without being charged?
eggspurt on June 14, 2006 at 1:57 PM
Excellent video, Michelle! Very amusing!
Muslihoon on June 14, 2006 at 2:31 PM
Wow!
Very nice and clever, Michelle! You have a nice narrative voice. Political nursery rhymes!
Also, compliments to Pat Gurley!
And, as always, Michelle, you look great.
The False Dervish on June 14, 2006 at 2:44 PM
As I was watching today’s Vent, I started to wonder what the lefties read on Christmas Eve.
Oops, how intollerant of me. I meant to say Ramadan.
Dave Shay on June 14, 2006 at 2:51 PM
Dread Pirate Roberts,
What? Hang on a minute, I gotta go change…
Jaibones on June 14, 2006 at 3:08 PM
What is really amazing is if you watch this one with the sound off it makes so much more sense and doesn’t dilute the messge at all.
/No honey just listening to a political commentary, Why do you ask?
LakeRuins on June 14, 2006 at 4:25 PM
What is groovy is Michelle in a nighty!
uhmm… now what was that story about?
I guess I’ll have to listen to it again!
>>>
Okay, now,
Funny stuff Michelle, topical, and on the mark as always.
The reality of this news really is comical, and really should be reported this way.
Lawrence on June 14, 2006 at 4:49 PM
A big thank you to all at HOT AIR for this early CHRISTmas present. It was just the RIGHT thing to do.
tormod on June 14, 2006 at 5:37 PM
I loved it GR8 job Michelle and everyone else who created this one.
I thought christmas is here alright and realized it’s you Michelle telling those freaks off again.
So why does the left come on here if they just get trashed all the time ?
I think they love to get spanked don’t you think so 2….
alyce on June 14, 2006 at 5:55 PM
Never in history an honorable profession of journalism has been profaned by a group of neantherdal liberal apes to the point that none of the news that come out from the major media can be trusted upon.
This is sad…but hilarious…but still sad.
easy87us on June 14, 2006 at 6:17 PM
Good lord! I’m not sure which I enjoyed more, the video or the audio. Aw, heck with it – the video. This one has serious replay value …
“All I want for Fitzmas is … ” ahem. Get a grip on yourself, Spurius.
Spurius Ligustinus on June 14, 2006 at 7:23 PM
Yes indeed Spurius, the video part of this new blog is definitely a pleasant surprise everyday. What I also enjoy is I never know what Michelle might say; I mean, Coulter I expect will shock me. It’s just a question of how far she’ll go. I always looked to Michelle as the more sober, reasoned commentator. Then came ‘boo freaking hoo’ and ‘premature iraq-ulation’…The blogging has brought out a really interesting part of her personality that didn’t show so much in her columns. If she ever got bored with writing, Fox should hire her in a second. She would OWN Katie Couric.
austinnelly on June 14, 2006 at 8:28 PM
Great story, Michelle; I do fear that your attire deleted serveral thousand IQ points from the male population in your viewership. Of course, the loss here is temporary whereas the Kos kids seem to have lost theirs permanently (and far more unpleasently).

Testing what sort of html tags the blog will accept…
Italics
Italics
Italics
venmax on June 14, 2006 at 9:49 PM
So….
Looks like the following work… (without the *’s)
Italics will make Italics
Bold will make Bold
Underline will make Underline
Now what about font size?
FontSize will make FontSize
FontSize will make FontSize
FontSize will make FontSize
FontSize will make FontSize
FontSize will make FontSize
FontSize will make FontSize
venmax on June 14, 2006 at 9:57 PM
Checking Underline again…
venmax on June 14, 2006 at 9:58 PM
Nope…
Looks like it will do Italics and Bold but that’s it… like so – this time substitute [] for …
Italics will make Italics
and…
Bold will make Bold
venmax on June 14, 2006 at 10:00 PM
Dang.. okay once more…
Use instead of [ and ]
In case this doesn’t work I’ll try plain English…
Use the Less Than Signi (for italics) or b (for bold)Greater Than Sign
These two symbols (if they work)
venmax on June 14, 2006 at 10:02 PM
Dang they didn’t work – the little arrows.
Those not completely in the dark will know what I’m talking about.
Google it!
HTML code…

Richard Davis on June 15, 2006 at 12:05 AM
Richard Davis … that’s funny, but not nearly as funny as this issue of Vent. Poor libs … I almost feel sorry for them. Well, not really. I guess I should feel sorry for them … but I don’t.
At any rate, these Vent issues never let me down. I love them and hope they keep coming for many years.
Great job, Ms. Malkin & Co!
mike duron on June 15, 2006 at 12:14 AM
Still, Michelle’s vent has the most comments…
Now I understand why…
