Amnesty in the U.K.

No “comprehensive immigration reform” doublespeak for them. When the Brits do amnesty, at least they call it what it is.

Sound familiar?

In the past, ministers feared that an amnesty would act as a magnet for more illegal migration and a spur to international people traffickers…

“It will not solve the problem; it will make it worse. It is an active incentive for people to come here illegally.” David Davis, the shadow home secretary, said: “With our borders so badly protected, even speculating about an amnesty is highly irresponsible. An amnesty could lead to a massive, uncontrolled increase in the numbers coming here.”

Sir Andrew Green, the chairman of Migrationwatch UK said: “This is thoroughly irresponsible. It is not a change of thinking; it is an absence of thinking.”

Back home, the National Guard deployment is paying dividends.

Update: Or is it? Goldstein quotes Mark Krikorian as saying it’s making things worse.

Today Aztlan (reconquista), tomorrow Eurabia (Islamofascism)!

Can an illegal alien hold dual non-citizenship?

Maybe putting them in jail for a couple of years when they return after being deported like they’re doing in Boston is a good idea. Give them work busting rocks at VERY low wages, might make them think twice finally about coming back.

Soon the entire nation will find out that the commentators here are more correct than any high level advisors in the government and in their party club houses.

There is not a single nation on this planet would let its border be unsecured and ignored like the way our baboon politicians did in past 15 years!

Prez. Bush, NO AMNESTY! CAN YOU HEAR US?…probably not…

GOP only needs to run on one platform, NO AMNESTY!

I predict that we are going to take 5 more seats from the Democrats, at least!

Here is what lawlessness and amnesty brings, among other ills:

The Administration will start arresting some felon illegals to garner public support toward the election.

There will be more high profile actions to come, I predict.

Democrats cannot do or say anything against it and it is killing them!

easy87us, they would score really big with middle-class America if they’d fine/arrest a few big fish who hire illegals.

This is rampant not only at the low-paying jobs, but prevalent in high-tech positions, at well-known companies.

They’re using the b.s. excuse that it is hard to identify who is here legally and who’s not. Find a will and though shall have a way!

How about those poutry and meat companies…like, say…Tyson?

I bet you the legals will get an immediate raise of a quarter an hour after the illegals are gone.

Bush is bushing us when he said that deporting 10 million illegals is not possible!

If we can send an armed force to 12000 miles away and pulled Saddam out of a spider hole, we can do it!

It may take some time, but we can do it.

Actually, I think somebody over at VDARE, maybe Steve Sailor, pointed out that Malaysia has managed to deport a comparable number of illegals (per capita) from its country rather rapidly.

Opening a new tab in Firefox. Digging for that article now…..

OK. Not Steve Sailer, but an anonymous writer:

http://www.vdare.com/misc/060523_an_economist.htm

The writer also points out that we were able to deport around a million illegal immigrants back in the 1950s with only 700 immigration agents.

I’m sorry, it is “Steve Sailer” not “Steve Sailor,” BTW.
