Powerline says there isn’t much of one — for Bush. But for the war in general, things are looking up.
Update: Jihadis in Iraq have put out an APB for the president.

Yeah, I bet zarqawi DID bounce a few times … againsts the walls, floor and roof of his um, “safe” house!

And the link in this above: “Jihadis in Iraq have put out an APB for the president”. You will find the image of Brian Ross on a cell phone….how perfect. Crazed Al Qaeda trying to find Pres Bush, and there’s Brian Moss making the call, seemingly.

The bounce was only minor, because it’s IMMIGRATION, stupid!
Kudos on Iraq, but shame on you, Mr. President, on amnesty.

“ABP for Bush”
LOL! I can just see them now, frantically calling all their contacts in Iraq and then realizing they don’t know the new guys number. “Maybe we should throw the Zarqawi phone list away?”

Dman, right on.
Bush just don’t seem to get it. When he and McCain ganged up on Bilbray, with the Minutemen took 4% of the votes away, Bilbray still won by 5%, RINO’s grip on GOP is over.
It is time for Bush to come to terms with the House.
Specter just does not quite understand what has happened…not yet. His lapse is our luck. The RINO is a real and big threat to the conservative movement, not the liberalsThe liberals will go self destruct before the election. But the RINO will try to break the GOP apart.

Bingo dman!!!
I hated the “Thousand points of light” crap from HW Bush.
Now I am sick of the promotion of “amnesty” by GW Bush despite what he wants to call it.
I will never vote for another Bush.
brtex on June 13, 2006 at 1:52 PM
Brtex, please do not worry over the possibility of another Bush. Read my lips….NO MORE BUSH….LOL…
Unless it is one of his daugthers…Scary Tale Part III.

ROFL…Jen or Barb will have to be running against Hillary to get my vote. But they do not appear to seek political careers. Whew!

I think I’ll keep basquing in the thought of Zarq’s lungs being shredded by concusive force for a few more days, before slogging back into immigration.
Its too bad we can only kill him once.

The bounce effect would only help if someone were willing to change their mind. Politics is very polarized at the moment, nobody’s willing to change their minds regardless of what’s going on.

Dynasties in America are not good and shouldn’t be applauded, be they Kennedy, Bush or Clinton.
However, aside from the daughters, there is Jeb Bush for another time, and above all, the ‘John Kennedy Jr. of the Right’, George Bush, the son of Jeb Bush.

Does John and John Quincy Adams still have any descendants running around? What is the shelf life on dynasties?

“…RINO’s grip on the GOP is over.”
I sure hope so.

There should have been a much greater bounce when Zarqawi was squashed yet polls show otherwise. Common sense tells me that something is amiss, and it isn’t due to the illegal immigration issue.
We shall see how well the polls reflect the upcomming elections. RINO’s beware.

Since the conversation seems to be heading that way: I’m a stalwart Republican, but I don’t want to see another President Bush for awhile. Sorry, Jeb. I’m just sick up and fed with hearing the Rants against “President Bush”. We have other capable leaders, and I wouldn’t mind seeing someone else get the nomination. Jeb can sit out an election or two-he’s young yet. Condi Rice would be a good choice; we haven’t had a single president for awhile-this might just be the change we need to move the country forward.
Doug on June 14, 2006 at 12:20 AM
I’m with you Doug, we need a president with a set cajones big enough to fight the war on global jihad. But that big cajone future president just happens to be female. Most of the other potentials are RINOs who sit down to pee and they are almost as weak as any dhimmicrat. Dr. Rice will continue the policy of pre-emption and future generations of Americans will be spared the curse of islam because of her willingness to destroy our enemies. The taliban, al-qaeda, the ba’athists and next stop, iran and syria.
How ironic that the only man strong enough to lead to war on jihad is a woman.
Condi ‘08! You GO girl!
