Algore says resistance is futile:
NEW YORK (Reuters) – Al Gore hopes to train 1,000 messengers he hopes will spread out across the country and present a slide show about global warming that captures the essence of his Hollywood documentary and book.
The former vice president, a Democrat, said on Monday that by the end of the summer he would start a bipartisan education campaign to train 1,000 people to give a version of his slide show on global warming featured in the film “An Inconvenient Truth” and book of the same name.
Question: Where will these little Gores deliver their dull as mud slide shows? Answer: Wherever they can, but most likely in–and I’m not making this up–churches. Specifically, Purpose-Driven churches, of which there are about 30,000 in the US and which cross all demoninational boundaries.
Purpose-Driven Pastor Rick Warren is already on the global warming bandwagon, even though the actual science of global warming is in serious dispute. I’ve already seen the first little tremors of a PD-global warming merger rippling across the land. It’s only a matter of time before the Gorebots launch in their Prius fleet and show up hijacking a pulpit near you.

Folks, folks… the debate is over.
Embrace Global Warming. Accept GW in your heart and you shall be REDEEMED! Amen.

Al Gore will lead the Green Party eventually….then they will become the haven for the true left and they will absorb Ralph Nader’s people ( if not already).
This is getting interesting. We may have a four party political scene in not so far future.

Firing up for 2008, Al Gore’s Global Warming Merry Pranksters traveling the country in their psychadelic school bus. Sounds like the fantasy trip the old hippies (and young hippie wannabes) have been praying for.
Algore Says: “Can you pass the GW acid test?”
Music by Phish…woo hoo!!

“We are gorebots. Lower your intellect and power down your logic. We will add your biological and technological distinctiveness to our own. Resistance is futile. You will be assimilated.”

So, the movie sucked and he decides ” I’m smarter than everyone in the world, so I’ll just cram it down their throats with 1000 trained minions”.
.What a fool.
And to think the Rotary Clubs will listen to his rhetoric?
Gorbo, they’re mostly retired SMART people at Rotary.

I had avoided the Purpose Driven Life, figuring that for professing Christians that part was a given, but when I learned that Al Gore and PD may be the Twin Horns of the Beast, I had to learn more.
So of course I went to the reviews at Amazon. It seems PD is filled with important numbers. There are 40 Days of Purpose, 1000 scripture quotes. A major complaint was the book was big on Evangelism, but ignores Sin and Redemption.
Along comes al Gore, Peace-Sign be upon him, with 1000 Apostles, to present his Testament “An Inconvenient Truth”. Sounds like a pro-life stance and in fact the signers of the “Evangelical Climate Initiative” declare this is a pro-life issue.
Gives a whole new slant to Evangelism.
I wonder where the PD crowd stands on the Ark of the Earth Covenant and its 10 Earth Commandments. See Earth Day:

Wait, it was Gore-bachov, not al-Gore, Peace-Sign be upon him, who declared he wanted the new Earth Commandments to replace the old Moses junk.
GORE-bachov, al-GORE? 40 Days of Purpose. It rained 40 days and nights on the Ark. 1000 apostles. Let 1000 flowers bloom.
Ever since I saw that photo of manic sweating al-Gore celebrating his loss of the Presidency despite more than 1000 illegals voting, I knew this man would one day be cloned.

I am sure this will work out as fantastically as his cable channel and talk radio ventures.

“Purpose driven churches”? What ever happened to “seperation of church and state”? What is the purpoes of these churches, to enslave us? A church that preaches junk science is not a Christian church. The Bible is what is preached “THE WORD”, not the word of some 2nd class wanna-be. The worship of goverment is the porpuse that drives Al Gore.
