No I haven’t read his book (nor can I afford it), but only hear sound bites (like here and MSM when it is only nano-seconds long….and only for their benefit) — which does and always will disgust me when thanks are not given where it is do or written words are taken out of context.

I do not have the time nor the money to read books like this or Anne’s that do not give proper credit where it is due – because there is an agenda that I or we can’t understand (Liberalism is a mental disorder…..wonder where she got that?) due to limited time in the day. I would rather read books like your’s or Michael Savage’s that go ‘where no one has gone before”.

What I have time and more is for is being a true AMERICAN — who gave his soul and life for over thirty years to our great COUNTRY (1973-2003), and would do more if given the chance (can you say that??). Michael Savage and his listeners are gearing up for another battle with the Haditha Marines….that have more than what Lt Pantano had on the line — was he shackled before being charged (no), was the MSM against him (yes), was the brass all the way to the White house condemning him before being charged (no)?? — and just to say ‘thanks’ to all in sound bites like this would do wonders for our own moral to continue this ‘enemy within’ battle – as those fighting for his brethren now and months from now!

Regarding Pantano and Haditha: Are you not paying attention to his every interview so far in which he warns against the rush to judgment against the Marines in Haditha? Did you not click on the very first link included above to his May 27th piece lashing back at Rep. Murtha over Haditha madness?

He also said his unit found an IED at 2AM with a flashlight, it was a 500 lb bomb, the wires led to a civilian home,

He said “The saddest part of it was that across the street from the bomb was a new school that was going to open the next day…”

and at the end of the wire, at the house, was a 12 year old boy. When they approached the boy, he said his father had been killed and that “bad guys” were making him do it.

Pantano said the boy was crying and he might have been telling the truth.

Pantano said this is the type of war they are fighting… civilians are the terrorists and vice-versa..

This is totally consistent with what I’ve been hearing from the Marines I’m friends with and drank beer with during Fleet Week.
