New developments over the weekend continue to place the claims of a massacre at Haditha in jeopardy, much to House leadership-hopeful, Democrat Jack “Mai Lai” Murtha’s chagrin.

This is apparently the first statement from anyone who has direct knowledge of the events relating to the Haditha incident. Other soldiers and witnesses have thus far made statements relating to what they saw after the alleged incident occurred. Stil…..

I heard that too. It’s nice that “Islam prevents it” but I think if they want justice for their people, they might just have to make an exception. Most religions don’t want you digging the dead up. Just one of those funny religion things.

It is definitely a convenient rule, but again: I’m thinking maybe the actual bodies, and not grainy videos or triple hearsay anonymous testimonies, that are going to put this to rest.
