C-SPAN just broke away from coverage of the KOssacks in Vegas due to technical difficulties. Therefore we can expect to read all sorts conspiracy theories in Kos as to why the breakoff of coverage “really” occurred.

I think leftists envy us for one additional reason not mentioned in this article: when appearing on TV or in print, our commentators don’t have to couch our intentions behind code words. We are opposed to amnesty for illegals; we don’t have to use a disingenous phrase like “comprehensive immigration reform.” We oppose abortion; we don’t have to use the euphemism “a woman’s right to choose.” We respect the 2nd amendment; we can refer to gun control as “gun control”. We oppose racial prejudice in government hiring decisions; we don’t have to use the silly phrase “affirmative action.”

As I sit here, I can’t really think of any leftist political aim whose proponents can just say what they want. Socialized medicine? Higher taxes? Racial & class warfare? All are leftist tenets that have to be couched in euphemism & code words.

So to all the other reasons we don’t like leftist political dogma, we can now add “We are allowed to speak our minds using clear, unambiguous English.” If for no other reason, I’d hate to be a leftist because I would hate having to hide my true feelings from the majority of Americans who think my agenda is insane.

..Somebody please help me here..Is C-Span now a tool of the left?…Today, I see that C-Span is covering the YearlyKos convention…The other day I thought I saw Al Franken (doing what looked like an “Air America” show)..Am I missing something here?
