Breaking: Israeli airstrike kills No. 2 on most wanted list

posted at 5:44 pm on June 8, 2006 by Allahpundit

What the hell is going on today?

Remember this turd? I blogged about him ten days ago. Quote:

Jamal Abu Samhadana, a 43-year-old explosives expert, is a key target for
Israel and moves stealthily, switching cars and hideouts, despite his promotion to security chief by the Hamas-led government…

“The American government and people will pay a dear price for this aggressive and criminal policy against the Arab and Muslim people,” he said…

“We are happy when any American soldier is killed anywhere in the world, because the American Army is an aggressor against all the people in the world, particularly the Arab and Muslim worlds,” he said. “The American people are known to be peaceful, so they are asked to move to bring down this terrorist government in Washington, so that the American people are safe from any attacks or retaliation.”

Abu Samhadana, No. 2 on Israel’s wanted list, wore a loose-fitting shirt and a baseball cap instead of his trademark guerrilla-style, black-belted uniform.

I’ve heard a few people today say it’s too bad ground forces couldn’t have taken out these guys, just to have seen the looks on their faces at the moment of truth. But not me.

I like the idea of it being done with airplanes.

Clintons best friend. Next to Arafat, of course. The liberal mourning continues. The good guys are winning.

Maybe we can be done fighting PC wars and have this kind of thing daily.

ZRyan on June 8, 2006 at 5:54 PM

DO I HEAR THREE ? Things happen in three’s fairly often.
Is this real? Early June is great for our forces.

Maybe a nice ICBM over in Irans direction could relieve a little heartburn also. The dems would then be on a serious suicide watch.

This is a rare eventful day!

In fact, this is the best week since Ronald Reagan became president!

I am touched. Just don’t know what to say.

We are seeing the end of the war on terror…yes..yes..I know..there is still a long way to go. But if you have argued with the left for over twenty years that we can win this war, but they keep on telling you you will not win, today is a day to remember!

Today’s great quote from Kerry ” This is time to bring our troop home!”

Which side is this butler pampered elite really on?

Where do I buy tickets?

It is extremely unheathful to be in a state of hate and anger for more than 24 hours. But the liberal “left” were in that state collectively for over two years after they lost the election. For a brief period of a few months last winter they reveived themselves ( like masturbation, I guess) and went high collectively thinking that they are going to win some seats back come November.

Today, man, TODAY is our D-Day!…Man…they are done in today.

Not only their anger all came back, they are adding onto it desperation, anxiety, jealousy, and withdrawal!

Now all we need to do is to mop up the battlefield with the No-Amnesty platform, securing border, and….build da wall!

How many seats do we expect to gain from them kooks? 5 more, at least.

And the hits just keep on comin’…

Is this better than when Uday and Qusay got waxed? I think it might be.

I’m just glad, like AllahP, that these things are being done from the air. I am sick and tired of our troops having to go door to door in these terrible terrorist strongholds to git ‘er dun.
Especially when they end up in a fight and are treated worse than the criminals at Club Gitmo are even before charges are levied against them. (Haditha Marines in solitary, shackled, no “prayer time”, special foods or exercise..an effing outrage if you ask me.)

Believing his own press-

he said. “The American people are known to be peaceful, so they are asked to move to bring down this terrorist government in Washington, so that the American people are safe from any attacks or retaliation.”

He thought the old media represented America.
And he thought we should commit suicide to save him the trouble of killing us.

No raisins for you, Samhadana!

elvis on June 8, 2006 at 7:17 PM

NTWR, even better things are coming for the military!

They are talking about ROBOTS! Soldiers will be handling robots to raid houses.

Remotely controlled airplanes will strike without sounds!

Soon you will see a bunck of 18 years old sitting on an aircraft carriers flying planes and attacking enemies from thousands of miles away!

All these are happening now.

Terminator! Awesome!

easy87us on June 8, 2006 at 7:21 PM

Elvis, how come this Samhadana dude sounds so much like Chomsky? Are they the same person?

easy87us on June 8, 2006 at 7:24 PM

So how nervous is Osama right now?

:)

Professor Blather on June 8, 2006 at 7:29 PM

Buh-Bye, terrorist asshole!

And to the rest of you jihadi scumbags that we haven’t killed (yet), in the words of Metallica:

“Sleep with one eye open, gripping your pillow tight”

You’re next.

“The Americans are known to be peaceful, so they are asked to move to bring down this terrorist goverment in Washington, so that the American people are safe from any attacks or retallation”. It seem I have read almost the same words on International Answers web site, or was it Not In Our Name. It was both! Liberals are all alike no matter if they live in Malibu, or in the Middle East. Bush is Hitler, bring down the Bush Regime bring peace to the World. Madness!!!

birdman on June 8, 2006 at 7:38 PM

“. . .despite his promotion to security chief by the Hamas-led government. . .”

This is the key phrase: his PROMOTION by the newly ELECTED government.

The Palestinians made their choice, forcing Israel to make its, and the results speak for themselves.

Inbred stupidity is the only explanation for electing terrorists to govern.

ForYourEdification on June 8, 2006 at 7:43 PM

Heh heh heh. Great news. One less goon to worry about. Only 1.7 billion to go.

Two for two! I thought the day Arafat checked out was the best day ever…this is ten times better! It’s a bad day down at scumbag central…lots of nervous eyes scanning the horizon. Payback time! Keep them running! It’s far from over but they will remember this day.

a few pics and an ap article at FReerepublic.com.
Israeli strike kills top Hamas enforcer ^
GAZA CITY, GAZA Strip – An Israeli airstrike Thursday killed the top Hamas enforcer in the Gaza Strip, Palestinian hospital officials and group members said.

Israel has accused militant faction leader Jamal Abu Samhadana of spearheading rocket attacks on Israel and of the fatal 2003 bombing of a U.S. convoy in the Gaza Strip that killed three American security guards.

Two other people were killed and seven were wounded in a strike on a Popular Resistance Committees training camp.

The 43-year-old militant had been No. 2 on Israel’s wanted list and had tried to avoid detection by moving stealthily, switching cars and hideouts.

In an interview last week with The Associated Press, Abu Samhadana railed against the U.S. government, saying he’s happy whenever American soldiers are killed and vowed not to take Hamas’ 3,000-strong militia off the streets.
—So long, Abu.

As the mice in the movie “Babe” would say, “A tragic day!” – if you’re a terrorist.
