Respect Party activist urges UK Muslims to stop cooperating with police

Yvonne Ridley, who became a Muslim after her kidnap by the Taleban in Afghanistan five years ago, has accused the police of being heavy-handed…
She told a meeting on Tuesday that Muslims should “boycott the police and refuse to co-operate with them in any way, shape or form.”
She said: “From today until this terrorisation of the Muslim community is stopped immediately, I believe all Muslims should withdraw their support,” she said.
“This goes from asking the community copper for directions to passing the time of day with a beat officer.
“We should enforce non-co-operation.”
Iran’s state news service has picked up the story. Respect has a statement about the recent terror raid up on its website that quotes Gorgeous George at length. It insists that they’re “all, across the communities, opposed to terrorism and have stood against it repeatedly,” and Ridley no doubt agrees. Read her op-ed about the Jordanians who denounced Zarqawi for launching terror attacks against them. Does that sound like someone who’s soft on terrorism?

Update: Muslim groups are organizing a protest in London for this weekend.

When are the sheep of the world gonna wake up? Canada, as well as any other western country should boot all muslims out if there’s even the slightest hint of terror sympathies. Some muslims come to the west to escape the suffication of their so-called “religion” and become happy and productive members. The great majority don’t. They become parasites on society and encourage if not participate in blatant activities to kill people and obliterate western culture.

The Akaka Bill is an abomination. I lived in Hawaii for many years, and the state has become increasingly racist towards whites in particular, and blacks. It is the most xenophobic place that I’ve ever spent any length of time in.
I also wonder how one becomes “indigenous” – Hawaiians immigrated to Hawaii from Polynesia about 1900 years ago. How many generations does it take to become “indigenous?” One, two?

That tells you something about some Western women, they like to be tied to beds, if you know what I mean. I guess they don’t get much of it in the Western nation, they found it on the hands of Muslim men.
Um, they miss one thing though… They should read the Quran where Allah ordered Muslim men to beat women if they disobey them. Maybe these Western women would’ve revised their decisions!
Um, maybe they should’ve read the life of Muhammad. It’s found in all X-rated stores, child-rape section.
Um, maybe they should ask the Jews who committed the first Holocaust in History.
Oh well. I guess Western women should take some lessons in the real Islam before being captured!!

Read Ms Ridley’s op ed. I don’t know why I am surprised everytime I read one of these people rationalize blowing innocent people to unrecognizable bits. In their eyes you are a legit target if you have ever heard the name America spoken. The hate just takes your breath away. I hope I never become so numb to their vile treatment of those that disagree with them that I will not be shocked at their actions.

Can anyone tell me what Muslims have against the west, us, them, other than the usual answers, Infidel and what not. Specifically, a common theme that comes up with Muslim complaints, “aggression towards muslims around the world by the west” ?? I keep hearing this claim from Muslims justifying their violence against the west. If there is such a thing, I haven’t seen it. The MSM hasen’t reported it. However, there are enough websites out there showing muslim atrocities. So what’s the beef?

Kini, its actualy a lot deeper than that.
The West is a threat to the Moslem religion because we believe in Freedom…. Right of free religion, speech, women’s rights, and the individual being in control and responsible. The idea of INDIVIDUAL Rights is essentaily against the Koran, where everything stems from Allah, through the Mullahs, and THEY shall tell you what to believe, and what “rights” you have.
With the West’s communications and wealth, Young Moslems saw this and started to question… “well… if the West can do it? and Allah hasn’t struck them down, maybe these old Men Aren’t right?”….
The West’s freedom and very existance is a threat to the Moslem religion.

The most important observation to be gleaned from Ridley’s op-ed, imho, is the intrinsic, unspoken assumption of separation of Muslims (by their own choice) from the rest of society. To Muslims, it is always “us against them.” They steadfastly refuse to assimilate into the non-Islamic countries in which they choose to live, they constantly expect special treatment above and beyond that which is reasonable for the average citizen, and they inevitably resort to threats of violence when they feel put-upon.
Muslims have terms for this, of course: Dar al-Islam and Dar al-Harb.
