Enforcement Wins

I like Mark Levin’s take on the Bilbray victory:

Two significant events occurred within days of the vote: 1. John McCain withdrew from a fundraiser for Bilbray over his disagreement with Bilbray’s pro-enforcement position; and 2. Bilbray’s opponent was caught encouraging illegal aliens to vote. The pattern is clear: The electorate, and certainly Republicans, oppose the open-borders crowd. And every time the issue is before the voters, enforcement wins.

That’s right. Immigration enforcement is one of those issues that, every time it’s put to a vote, the sensible American emerges. Only in Washington is enforcement of the law even controversial, and it’s only controversial because Washington has lost its mind.

We should deport McCain!!!!!!
He obviously loves the invaders, so he should be sent back with them.

True. In our local election, on candidates without much history, I voted based on their stance on illegal immigration. It will get to the root cause of soooo many issues in our state and country if we just ENFORCE THE LAW!

Pretty simple election procedure here:
State your stance on being pro-enforcement
Back it up with history of being that way
Get elected
Actually do what you said you would and enforce laws,
Get re-elected.

The budget, school and healthcare systems, jails, roads, traffic congestion, pollution, and crime rates will fall back into line.

Guys, listen to the drum beats…

The Democrats are starting to claim that they are for secured border. The RINOs are sending their own dummies to represent us on TV to give rebuttal. They end up enforcing the notion that Democrats are for secured border but Bush is not, so GOP is on the other side of the fence with Bush. it just happened in FOX channel this morning, again.

They are stealing our platform! GOP, are you listening????

Have Ted Kennedy’s speech to the illegals ready. ” I HAVE A DREAM….”

But but but
the MSM says it doesn’t mean anything even though a win would have been huge

Don’t forget about the PEOPLE rejecting increased taxes in CA to fund FREE PRE-SCHOOL FOR ALL (including the children of illegal felons) and additional taxes for ever more Lyberries! (hey, I’m from NJ! Youse gotta problem? Youse can read?)

Dread Pirate Roberts VI on June 7, 2006 at 1:11 PM

Rob Reiner can give all his own money to fund free pre-school for the kids in California he’s so worried about. It was his idea for the plan anyway. Carnegie already did the “liberry” thing, so Xerox a map to the nearest one and give it to the kids.

C’mon liberal California judges! To arms!

Must throw out people’s vote and install free pre-school…

A more true statement could not be made. I think I am going to put this quote on a T-shirt and wear it the next time I visit D.C.

Minuteman backed candidate took in 4% of the votes from Bilbray.

Although I support Minuteman’s effort, I would think they should stop running if the GOP candidate is for securing our border. They should go after the seats that are currently hold by Democrats.

If they do anything else, I would think they are another “Perot” trick in the making.

Just my point of view, and I am watching them.

REMEMBER THE 50!
Bilbray won in the Peoples republik of Kawleefornya in a race ridden with scandal from his predessor by pledging to enforce the immigration laws. He actualy listened to the “Will of the people”.
Wake up Cowboys & Cowgirls, if the illegal aliens stay, the Republicans go home.

I wish the government in general had the same committment to enforcing our laws as the IRS does. Maybe we should put the IRS in charge of border security, and let them set the employer fines and also let them keep the fine revenue.

It couldn’t be any worse than it is now.

Shmo on June 7, 2006 at 5:04 PM

Everyone seems to be focused an the narrow margin of Bilbray’s win. Why not check to see if Busby’s folks actually did help a lot of “illegals” vote for her and perhaps the margin will be much larger.

Chief1942 on June 7, 2006 at 6:09 PM

Not only is McCain not going to be the next President, I doubt the people of Arizona will re-elect him to the Senate.

Rather let’s take those monies from the fines and bank accounts of the criminals and use it to give the US Citizens another tax break and help to strengthen the economy, build the fence to help secure the country, help pay for more border agents, and armor for our military men and women in harm’s way.

I have to post this; I found it on YouTube. This guy is hysterical (it’s a rant about illegal immigration). Enjoy:

As for Bilbray; Snow put the spin on it this morning, so I don’t know that the message got through.

Easy87us, that’s an interesting point (and as usual from you, a good one). If there’s a GOP candidate who supports the hardline approach to illegals, having a third candidate can potentially do some damage.

On the plus side; a 6 page letter I wrote in April to the President, Veep and leadership has been ignored except for a letter I got from the Veeps’ “Special Assistant to the Vice President for Correspondence”. It’s a form-type letter, but after 2 months I got SOMETHING back. I keep thinking if we hammer everyone enough, it will click with a few of our politicians.

The McCain Mutiny: The Republicans aren’t following his commands regarding the illegal alien issue.
