Nation-states and American citizens–Marines–are held to different standards. There’s no guarantee of due process or “innocent until proven guilty” for nations–and there’s no court to try them in. So there’s no hypocrisy in distrusting Iran–we’re under no obligation to trust them or prove anything to anyone but ourselves.

Mind you, even if it were hypocritical, it would still be the right thing to do.

And wasn’t George Bush the guy who said, “We will never negotiate with terrorists!”? I guess giving terrorists nuclear technology isn’t really “negotiating” with them.

These people are proven sickos — human life is meaningless to them — and I will never accept as “acceptable” the UNacceptable handing over to terrorist nations material that could potentially or even remotely harm us.
