Question their patriotism? You can’t question something that so obiviously doesn’t exist.
The Marines right to due process is being completely trashed by the court of public opinion. Who ever leaked the Haditha situation to the media needs to be drug out into the street and shot.
None of this should of come to light before the offical report was released.

The marines are in what I see as a no-win situation. Washington doesn’t let them fight in a way that would allow them to win, and the media distort situations to damage their reputations whenever possible. So, they can’t fight because Washington makes them too PC–and they can’t be politically correct ENOUGH for the media. Let’s say Haditha happened as reported and it was a slaughter. I know plenty of conservatives disagree with me, but here’s where I fall out: everyone is in the army over there. Children, women, and civilians are all used to trap and ambush the soldiers. Because of this, every one needs to be looked at as being dangerous. The rules of the Geneva Convention have already been broken–soldiers don’t wear uniforms in order to be identified. How can we expect to “win” a war we aren’t allowed to fight? Should the marines go crazy and kill at random? Of course not. But these are YOUNG men, not machines without feelings and frustrations. Let them fight–and incidents like this alleged one are less likely.

If these Marines are found innocent, considering all the iraqulations going around, what will the ‘peace movement’ then do? What they’d always do, blame Bush and the US for covering up everything and for refusing to find the accused guilty. Leiren, the Marines will be hounded for a long time regardless of the outcome of the trial and these guys on trial will become outlaws.

Today’s New York Times includes an article on the many mass graves in Iraq and actually refers to Saddam Hussein as a “tyrant.”
You know some editor is going to get fired for letting that slip through into print.

The force that controls the liberal media is so evil….
It encompassed the globe, from America to Europe.
They speak with one voice…anti America and everything She stands for.
This force is clearly manifested through NY Times, CBS, CNN, BBC, Reuters, AP, Yahoo, Hollywood( and European film industries)….
We used to call them liberal elites, but I think we are way to simple minded to characterize them as a political force only.
This is not a force formed by the people, for it is too orchestrated and too coordinated. The amount of financial backing is astronomical, judging by the media blitz they can create upon a moment’s notice.
This force also prevent conservative teachers from being hired into Unversities and colleges. This force is trying to brain wash our teens before they leave colleges.
This force also permeated into the GOP and split it from within.
We are indeed fighting the Devil of our time.

Your June 5 Vent on MSM reporting of Iraq is perfect! It gives specific examples of the how the “reporting” on one event is misrepresented to liberal intrests and the specific MSM publications that perpetrate such fraud. A voice in the wilderness exposes MSM propaganda for what it really is!
There are names for such acts of MSM misreporting that go beyond libel and slander when it involves national interest - it is called Sedition and Treason. Freedom of the press does not include a license to manipulate truth to the deliberate detriment of the nation - even if that sedition provides advantage to Liberal Democratic interests.
More of this caliber of commentary and reporting please Michelle! Where else are we going to get such clear and accurate expose on MSM manipulation and, in my opinion, clear examples of Sedition?

Thank you, Michele, for your detailed information and analysis on the Haditha mainstream media deceitful blathering! I absolutely hate to see Olbermann’s face…even when flipping through the channels. You little clip reminds me just why I avoid his drivel like the plague!
Your excellent coverage has exposed, for all to see, the downright deceit and blatant propaganda that is unfairly being unleashed towards our brave and courageous marines! Until Keith Olberman is willing to take on a marine’s role in this war, he should keep his stupid anti-war/anti-military opinions to his pathetic self!
It’s bad enough that John Murtha is appearing on T.V. news commentary shows at C.N.N., spouting off his anti-military rhetoric that our marines are “guilty.” His anti-military drivel surpasses the speed of the green pea soup spewed by actress Linda Blair in a scene from the movie “The Exorcist.”
Apparently, John Murtha doesn’t believe in the concept of “innocent until proven guilty.” He is also too chicken to appear on The O’Reilly Factor to answer some real, challenging questions. He’ll appear on namby-pamby Paula Zahn’s show because he knows he wouldn’t have to face the tough questions regarding his disgraceful behavior and anti-war sputtle.
The deception brought forth by the UK Times using an old photo of dead Iraqis who were executed by insurgents in a sports stadium (which was taken months before the Haditha incident) is just absolutely despicable!
Good move, UK Times. Adding to the hatred of America and giving excuses for insurgents and Al Qaida to continue their suicide bombings, killing of our military service members, the constant targeting of civilians who join the police force in Iraq, and just the generalized unrepentant mission it provides in enabling our enemy is just what a good newspaper should be doing these days…NOT!

easy87us, pretty hard to convince people of something they refuse to believe exists. It’s sort of like how the liberal mind hates or feels threatened by christians. They can’t really put reason behind it, but they just know that they do, and just intinctively know that they are somehow even more terrible than terrorist Muslims. Spiritual blindness seems an ever increasing phenomenon in our time.

Michelle before you even mentioned My Lai, thats all that I could think of. The MSM is trying to manufacture another My Lai; this is way over the line. Our enemey watches the Major networks, and CNN. The Islamo extremists know that the only way that we can be beat is from within. The libs don’t give a damm how many of our troops get killed. The libs don’t seem to get it. If this country goes down, the libs will go down to. The words of Ann Coulteir are ringing in my head. “They say that they support the troops but not the war, no they don’t”. Screw this country to hell with everything and everyone! My wife, who is Japanese, translated for me on Japanese television the story of a US Sailor who was just sentenced to life by a Japanese court for murdering a Japanese woman in a botched robbery attempt.
Why is this important? Because, unlike Iraq, here is a REAL ATROCITY committed by a serviceman in a NON-COMBAT SITUATION and was really COLD BLOODED and NOT A WORD BY THE MSM. I had to find it out on Japanese TV! The “caring” MSM only cares about skewering the President and the war effort either by exaggerating or manufacturing apocryphal stories.

I think we are fighting something more sinister than Hitler! This force is more powerful than Hitler for it is controlling both sides of the political spectrum from one side of the globe to another side. THEY do control both the left and the right!
What the conservatives are doing now is to claim back the GOP from this force. Guess what? They are trying the Perot trick again. They are spreading their messages on some newspaper and through radio. They are brainwashing us to believe that we need a new party! And guess what? Even some die hard conservatives believe them!
Damn if we have a new party! That will tear GOP apart and launch the liberals into power!
When the left are smearing our troops, the “RINO” right kept quiet! When the left want to bring in South America style revolution to our country, the “RINO” gladly opened the border.
It is scary and it is sobering to just think about what we are up against!
If we don’t wake up now, GOP will be torn apart when them SOBs introduce a third party candidate in 2008 to counter the candidate of our choice.
That is why the House has to defeat the amnesty bill. We must have a party leader and speak with one voice so the third party candidate will not be effective in 2008! First and of top priority is to secure our border!

I’d like to see a video montage that features all the pundits making Vietnam comparisons before we went into Afganistan. And do you all remember the “trench warfare” warnings and the claims by so-called experts there would be “tens of thousands” of US troop deaths as the lead-up to Iraq was happening?
Give us back Hollywood and the press corps of the WW-II era. This “enemy within”, as Michael Savage calls them, is weakening our nation.

easy87us, no question, the Senate and Bush have let conservatives down and have failed to come through on anything that matters long term to domestic betterment. Other than a conservative on the S.C., which Bush tried to screw up also, we have nothing to show for 6 years of hope. I’m afraid that I don’t believe anything G.W. says anymore. Like NOW he is going to “talk tough” on homosexual marriage? At this point, we have 50 traitor Senators who want to give SS money to illegal people, like there is a snowballs chance in hell of getting through an anti homosexual marriage amendment now. And without it, liberal judges will continue to thwart the will of the people until liberals do get control, and make it law.
If the alternative wasn’t disaster, conservatives would do well to let the supposed conservative fools get voted out, but too much is at stake. It is looking more and more like politics is transcending conservatism, and in the Senate already, it’s hard to tell most of them apart. The next 2 elections will probably be the deciding factor, whether the U.S. finally succumbs to liberal idiocy and destroys herself, or whether we continue on, crippled by seditious traitors into eventual irrelevance.

The bottom line is that the responsibility for the United States and its well-being falls on the shoulders of the people. If we continue to let the politicians think and act for us, we will be victims, as we are now, of their self aggrandizing agendas. If we don’t vote and get involved with what is going on, we have no leg to stand on when someone else decides our fate.
We are in a war of survival folks, pure and simple! The MSM and the liberal elites are against everything that the United States of America stands for. Unless we push back and vote with our pocketbooks, we will have to face the reality of what we are left with. This coupled with a fully anti-Western Islamic civilization puts us in serious jeopardy.

What happened to due process and innocent until proven guilty for those Marines? Well according to the Slimes, the London Slimes, and other journalist forms of toilet paper, the answer is quite clear…for the Marines, there is no due process of law. They are guilty until PROVEN guilty.
Sadamn-it Hussain gets a trial. Senator McLain (with the agreement of W, for God’s Sake) had civil rights confered on terrorists.

I’m sorry..I didn’t quite hear anything after premature iraq-ulation…Seriously, nicely said. Haditha is what they MSM has been hoping for; doesn’t matter that it may not be what it appears, it’s close enough. Kick up enough manure in the air, and it wont’ matter when the truth comes out; just keep banging the bongos and screaming louder. What an unethical bunch. Yet another enjoyable vent. BTW, enjoyed Michelle’s appearance on O’Reilly. As I’ve pretty much given up on the Senate after their civil rights bill for non-citizens, I didn’t realize we had the civil rights for the alternative sexual life style crowd under consideration. By all means, let’s not stop here. I’m sure there is another downtrodden demographic that the Senate needs to save; perhaps, serial killers not bright enough or strong enough to grab their own victims? Maybe, a pedophiles bill of rights, or a dating service could be mandated by those forward thinking sages in the Senate? Sorry, don’t mean to be so bitter; it’s late, i’m tired and I have a headache..good night.
