Ms. Sheehan is just a liberal, pure and simple. She would be out there even if her son had not died in defence of our liberties. The fact that he did perish just gave her the limelight she craved to spew her venom at everything American (not to mention her anti-Jewish sentiments).

shmo: she may well be motivated by the limelight, but as you suggest, we have no way of knowing. We lost a child years ago, I lost 30 pounds I couldn’t afford to lose and experienced some temporary vision loss. Grief does unbelievable things to you. Just think we need to listen to the voices of our better angels on this one and not be so quick to judge.

You are right, but she just seems motivated more by the limelight than the grief of loosing her son. I heard that Casey was raised by his father and she had very little involvment in his life, but I don’t know that for sure.

Hmmmm. I can’t believe he got such a nice marker. She strikes me as the type to parlay the stone, get the money, put a brick on his grave, then scream to high heaven that Bush is to blame for lack of a proper marker. She is wholly reprehensible.
