There’s no death penalty for Muhammad, because Doug Gansler, our prosecutor here in Montgomery County, chose not to seek the death penalty.

Explained here. (The article was written a while back, even though the date on the article is today’s, for some reason.)

What’s the name of the principle that you rise to the level of your incompetence? Gansler’s running for state attorney general and could easily win.

Many people have forgotten, but there was real terror at the time of the sniper shootings in the Washington area. People were afraid even to leave their house to go shopping or get gas. It was most definitely terrorism, and it was Muslim terrorism. It would be nice if a high-level Bush administration official could remind the nation of that fact because the MSM certainly won’t.

The maximum sentence in MD is death, however, it has so many statutory and judicial restrictions that it might not be applicable even this clear-cut case of malicious, depraved murder.

If there is any way that he canmanage it, States Attorney Gansler should offer the prosecuting District Attorney in Virginia (Fairfax County?) that MD will put John Muhammad to death and bear those expenses, as John Muhammad killed more people in MD, and was apprehended near an elementary school.
