The law signed which outlaws protests at funerals in national cemetaries is unique in that ALL Americans and political parties probably support it. It may make Fred Phelps proud that his actions have effected the country in such a way that a Federal Law was passed, mainly against him. His kind-egocentric madmen with delusions of superiority-seem to lack the capacity for ‘shame’. I commend all parties involved in passing this legislation. The ACLU will probably argue against it.
A funeral-even when held in a public cemetary, is a private occasion.

Just finished watching the PBS special on the Washington Mall. Gary Sinese is a great American…I hope you all got a chance to see this…does an American Heart proud. And I would like to mention my Father Frank, who served in WW2..he is gone now but we will never forget his service. Uncle Bob still carries the scars of a shoulder shot away during the taking of Monte Casino, Italy. Thank you Uncle. and I can’t end this unless I mention my brother Carl…seved proudly in the US AirForce, Da Nang, Viet Nam. Came home in one piece but the scares go deeper than what we see on the surface. To all who served us, THANK YOU and GOD Bless you and you families. We can sleep knowing we are free because of them.
