Which begs the question: If the citizens of DC cannot own firearms, what would the city council do if there was a sudden run on Portable Pnuematic nail guns from outlying Lowe’s and Home Depots?

The shooter has been identify.

It is Dick Cheney.

Mr. Dick Cheney was practicing in the shooting range located under the building.

It turned out the VP was trying his new Uzi on a target having the shape and look of…GEORGE W. BUSH!!

Mr. Cheney lost control of his temper, got out of the shooting range and started shooting at the cars parked in the garage.

After a firefight with the FBI, the Capitol Police, the SWAT teams and the Marines, Mr. Cheney surrendered escaping death with only minor injuries in his butt.

A Capitol police spokeswoman told reporters that Mr. Cheney had an enormous grudge against his boss because according to his own words: “This son of a ***** screwed me for six years. I was a fool.”

The police tried to find out what exactly happened, and why Mr. Cheney was angry at Bush but without any results.

The scene turned ugly when Mr. Cheney started pulling out what’s left of his hair and eating it.

Later in the day, a psychiatrist recommended that Mr. Cheney be transfered to a group home for the mentally retarded.
