Does it need an introduction? No, my friends, it does not.
Classes of people. Such as … those who are here legally and those who aren’t?
I wonder if there are any “particular classes of people” who might benefit from stronger border enforcement. We could ask some black construction workers — if only we could find any.

Hey Jimmuh . . . want some rabbit stew?

Carter is desparate for attention. To the point that he, like the Senate, are convinced that illegals are more important than citizens, that the border mess is America’s fault, and the present racial make-up of the country is defective. This feckless fawning over crimminal invaders is bizzare. That we have been deserted by the Republican Party is disgusting. A sellout by business that will surely turn America over to the Democratic Party and it’s most extremr elements.

Jimmy’s been bonging peanut shells again.

What a Joke ! what is this freaks name again because I only remember Presidents that have some sense….not enough morals but sense I think…

Jimmy Pea”nut” Carter was quiet for 20 years. Only thing we heard about him was him building homes with habitat for humanity.
After 20+ (26) years he must figure that the masses have forgotten what a failure his presidency was. Now he is trying to make his legacy. Something he will fail at just like Clinton.

He calls it “a punitive approach to immigration.” Having immigration laws is a punitive approach to immigration? Can this man be more confused?
Kevin R on May 24, 2006 at 10:26 PM
Every time I see this jackass I am reminded of the overwhelming self loathing that this country experienced after Watergate, which was directly responsible for electing this piece of garbage president. Thank God Ronald Reagan came along to renew our national pride and dignity. Jimmy, go smack yourself in the thumb with a hammer while doing your phony do-gooder act with Habitat for Humanity. Everyone knows you are just trying to make up for your failed presidency. Oh. And thanks for your contribution in Iran.
pistolero on May 24, 2006 at 10:49 PM
There we go again play the RACE card, “talking points”. The libs just can’t get of this merry go round. I have only one wish, and that is, Mr. Jimmie please immigrate to North Korea. PLEASE!

Hello, I am Ropera, a problem-solver…
1. Dig a moat the length of the Mexican border.
2. Take the dirt and raise the leeves in New Orleans.
3. Put the Florida alligators in the moat.
Any other problems you have for me to solve?

Reagan and Heston both owned up to their affliction by Alzheimers. It’s time Carter did likewise.

It’s sad- as a 12 year old I liked the then President Carter, I sensed his basic decency (Though as an adult I understand his many policy failures). He has done good works over the years, like Habitat and the Carter Center. But now, he’s being very foolish to alienate so many with his far left views. He should have just kept his trap shut, and worked on the humanitarian angle.
gmoonster on May 25, 2006 at 1:32 AM
You have to ask youself why is Carter for every dicktater thats against us, and against every dicktater thats for us. This was true during his Presidentsey, and its true now. Mr. Jimmie left the Southern Baptist Church for it’s stand on gay rights, and abortion. Carter thinks he’s above God.
birdman on May 25, 2006 at 2:02 AM
Jimmy Carter’s one accomplishment is to be the father (unknown to Bill Clinton) of Chelsea. He must be. She looks just like him.
This idiot was in office one term, and there’s a reason. He’s an idiot.
Go dig peanuts.
clyde on May 25, 2006 at 5:11 AM
One more Ropera… you forgot #4 feed the the alligator!
I think Jimmie C would make a nice appetizer. I hear they’ll eat just about anything.
Bob Mileti on May 25, 2006 at 5:27 AM
Has anyone noticed Carter has only 2 basic looks on his face at any given moment.
1.) Grave Concern
2.) Vapid Bewilderment
venmax on May 25, 2006 at 6:21 AM
I heard Karl Rove is the real mastermind behind the Senate Bill’s push.
Anyone know just what Kool-Aid this idiot’s been drinking?
Is this idiot looking at the same numbers were looking at?

God I feel sorry for those Navy submariners aboard that Seawolf Class vessel the USS Jimmy Carter. I’m guessing that because tradition was broken when they named the Regan after a Living Ex-President, Carter decided he needed a ship named after him as well?
I have no problem naming a ship after a living person. I do feel though that the type of vessel should be a reflection of that person’s character. The aircraft carrier was perfect for President Regan!
For Carter on the other hand, I would suggest a different type of ship. Maybe a paperwork friggate or a laundry cruiser?
Gault on May 25, 2006 at 9:05 AM
To many liberals, Jimmy Carter is a hero. In order to remember how AWFUL Carter was as a president, you have to be at LEAST 35-40 years old. All the college kids and those in their 20’s who call themselves “progressive” weren’t even born yet. so all they see and know is this do-gooder Habitat builder (which is a good organization regardless of their affiliation with the village idiot) trying to “humanize” all these very complicated issues. The MSM fails to mention the Iran Hostage Crisis, gas shortages, OPEC, 55 mph and since they get all their news from the big three networks, they’ll never know what an utter failure he was as a President. Sad really, that networks actually use him as a source when all of his policies were disasters.
pullingmyhairout on May 25, 2006 at 9:25 AM
Well, at least Jimmy Carter’s position on immigration is in line with his positions on terrorism, communism, and totalitanarianism. In other words, cave in and appease. It is safe to say that if President Dhimmi Carter supports it, it’s a bad idea.
Kid from Brooklyn on May 25, 2006 at 9:32 AM
Wasn’t Ramsey Clark his Attorney General? Just 2 nuts trapped in the same peanut pod.
Pistolero and Ropera got it right.
Shmo on May 25, 2006 at 9:45 AM
I think Jimmy is just being competitive. You had to figure that there was no way Bill Clinton could avoid being the absolute worst ex-president ever. But Jimmy wants to hold onto that title. It looks like a close race.
Sugar Land on May 25, 2006 at 9:45 AM
Nawwww, at least Bubba had the decency to stay out of the market’s way during the ’90s. Dhimmy by a landslide.

“Punitive legislation has strong racist overtones. This is a sensitive issue and good honest hard working people do not need to be punished.”
There you have it. Break the law and you do not need to be punished and on top of that you are honest for being a criminal.
To the younger folks on this forum, this is what we had to put up when Jimmy Carter was President.
He is a traitor and sold this country out by giving the Panama Canal away, caused the Iranian Crisis that we are still dealing with today.
He should be in Prison but the MSM still honors him like some great leader.
ScottyDog on May 25, 2006 at 9:57 AM
You see? Too many peanuts CAN harm you!
Jimmy Carter is a PATHETIC fool! On a scale of worst president ever to world’s biggest court jester, he holds trophys in both fields!
As a peanut farmer, Jimmy Carter ingested mucho “peanut fumes” in his fields. As we know, peanuts can be extremely toxic to some people and obviously Carter is one of those whose brain cells were rotted by peanut fumes.
Some of this fool’s “triumphs” have been cozy, body-hugging trips and meetings with the likes of despot Ceasar Chavez, looney Ramsey Clark, dictator Fidel Castro, moonbat Cindy Sheehan and murderer Yassir Arafat. His claim to fame is forsaking American hostages in Iran and more recently, bad-mouthing his country while traveling overseas. JIMMY CARTER IS A TRAITOR!
With lunatic Marxists like Carter running loose, who needs enemies?

Carter: The Worst President EVER
pullingmyhairout forgot to mention the 21% mortgage rates too, & how many people lost their businesses during that short four years due to his “malaise”.
That stupid ‘do-gooder’ was hated in every Asian nation I visited at the time. I can’t tell you how many Arabs came up to me (an obvious American) and said “America weak, America finished now, America no fight” etc.”
Carter is in fact is responsible for enabling the start of the jihad on America we have today. Had he eliminated Khomeini in Paris instead of castrating the CIA, Iranians might still be our friends and would certainly be better off.
No wonder he speaks of ‘class’ struggles, Carter loves “benevolent” dictators, don’t forget how he lamented that at camp David the courageous Egyptian dictator could deliver whatever he said, while the Israeli leader stubbornly needed to have decisions ratified by his Knesset. His bumbling was the worst for domestic policy, and his dictator coddling was the worst for foriegn policy.
As far as MSM is concerned Gore won the election in 2000 and Clinton took over from Carter. The Bushs are just a conspiracy. Unfortunately a lot of the public only thinks as deep as the latest MSM sound bytes. Hopefully the future of MSM as challenged by Hot Air and others, and the computer savy of the next generation, will change that.

A few notes about the non-amnesty amnesty being put forth by the Senate:
Illegal immigrants, regardless of how long they have been in the United States, will only be required to pay 3 years worth of back taxes. They will not have to pay penalties or fees as you or I would. This is a ‘tax fraud’ amnesty, in and of itself, for most eligible illegals.
Unless there is something new being proposed over and above the 1986 amnesty, the English language requirement will be a joke:
http://www.vdare.com/guzzardi/esl.htm
So, call it a “banana” if you like, John “Straight Talk Express” McCain’s, “banana” is an amnesty no matter how you put it.

Has everyone forgotten that Jimmy Carter as President, let Fidel Castro empty his prisons and mental institutions, so they could come to this country as immigrants? I remember because of the increase in crime and murders committed by these good folk and the strain put on the prison system in Wisconsin. Now are we to listen to this idiot on immigration again? I think not!
Madcity on May 25, 2006 at 11:22 AM
Could it be that Jimmy is looking for more Habitat work… his raison d’être one precious week a year? That said, surely his toolbox contains a roll of duct tape.
Aunt B on May 25, 2006 at 11:28 AM
I guess Carter is still clutching his worst president ever award very very hard.
Asmodeus on May 25, 2006 at 12:59 PM
Tommy1…good points. It will in fact be only three years of back taxes that the invaders would be “required” to pay.
If that is the “punishment”, then let’s all just stop paying our taxes. When we are facing the inevitable prosecution that arises, perhaps we can point to the precedent set by the invaders’ “penalties.” We shouldn’t get jail time, we should only have to pay restitution for 3 years. After all, we have been hard-working contributors to society. It would be an affront to expect us to pay any more than that having been in the workforce longer than most illegal immigrants, thus having been greater contributors to society.

Reality Check,
Thanks for the additional info. I was pretty young at the time, but i do remember my parents complaining of double digit inflation and record high interest rates. Can you imagine buying at home at a 21% interest rate???? eee-gad. he gets my vote for the worst. hands down. done. end of discussion.
pullingmyhairout on May 25, 2006 at 4:57 PM
I can’t believe Carter and Castro are still around! Whatever – When Carter was running for president I remember ABC’s Frank Reynolds going crackadog over Jimmy’s handsomeness. Gaga gaga gaga, Reynolds in a pink bubble over Jimmah. It was a disgusting display of newslant.
BeeCharmer on May 25, 2006 at 6:37 PM
I knew that Carter used to be a submariner in the USN, which is a frightening thought when one considers this Bozo used to in charge of nuclear reactors (he resigned his commission 2 years before the Thresher disaster, probably no connection there, I checked). He has, however, presided over many comparable disasters during his presidency, as previously noted in this comments section. In the ensuing years he has reconfirmed his idiocy time and again, refusing to take his rightful place in the forgotten footnotes history.
When this gomer finally rides the caisson to Arlington, I’m going to have a hell of a wake.
