Jesse Macbeth’s MySpace page

posted at 11:29 am on May 24, 2006 by Allahpundit

Not sure if it’s real, but the one blog entry over there is dated March 24, two months before anyone had heard of him. Anyone know if it’s possible to backdate posts at MySpace?

Credit for the link goes to QandO. McQ’s fourth update makes it sound like a photo of Macbeth was originally posted on the MySpace page, and that it’s since been removed. Expect the whole page to disappear shortly; if it does, I’ll post the screencaps here.

Check out the comments that are being left on Macbeth’s blog and, especially, the one from his “friend” on the main page. Hilarious.

We’ve got a new Vent on Macbeth this morning. Watch it if you haven’t yet. Meanwhile, the lie keeps spreading.

Update: One of our readers says he saw the MySpace page before it was altered. See the first comment below.

Update: Some people will believe anything. Follow their link to Google Video, too, and note the description in the sidebar.

Update: Jim “Elite Ultra-Secret Killing Machine” Treacher e-mails to say Macbeth’s stutter must have been caused by PTSD.

Update: Nutroots jerkoffs are pretending none of their fellow troop-supporters on the left were trumpeting the Macbeth video. SFPH wonders how many more would have picked it up if it hadn’t been debunked so quickly.

Indeed, MacBeth’s Myspace originally had a photo of him saluting–before the same flag background, incorrectly arranged attire, and GlamorShots fuzzy-lighting. It also had more information next to his picture and under “About Me” which has been subsequently deleted shortly after the blogstorm last night.

God, I went and looked at that ARCTIC BEACON link you provided, supposedly the “the last frontier of truth” and see McBeth’s lie played out in full like it is the truth. Jeez. Perfect. No stopping these idiots is there. They live on a planet all their own. Named Mars. Or maybe “Uranus” would be a better selection.

Yes you can back date a post in Myspace (as well as most other blogging software)

The tragedy is that the left is following their Vietnam script which required disgruntled vets to badmouth the military operations. During the Vietnam conflict, the lefts could find ‘real’ vets like Kerry to make discrediting statements. Now they have to invent them because most of the military believe in the mission.

I saw this rumor today:

From Pima County Clerk of Superior Court (I’m not familiar with this county). His original name is/was Jesse Adam Al-Zaid, and he has a Muslim background.

Does anyone have resources to confirm?

The image on MM is the funniest thing I’ve seen in a while. John Kerry + Jesse MacBeth =
Kudo’s to Sanctuary. With todays disgrace in the Senate, I really needed a laugh. And I did just that, laugh out loud.

This is the perfect situation to charge an individual with Treason against his country. This was a pre-meditated hoax designed specifically to give aid and comfort to our enemy. Does the pussy Bush have the stones to do it? Of course not. Apparently to Bush, Treason is an accepted form of free speech. NY Times, Wash Post, the Wilsons, ets… All of that OK by him. Sooner or later he had better start enforcing the Constitution he swore to uphold.

If you click on some of his myspace friends you can read comments he has posted on their myspaces. One of his comments reads as follows:

Also, one of his myspace friends appears to be anti Israel. Click on his friend, “Gunther” to expose more motives for his lies.

It’s true, but he was two years old when his name was changed.

RE: Some people will believe anything.

I followed the link to “Scholars for Truth” and read their trash talk about Iraq. What a load! Turns out these guys are part of the Loose Change crowd.

Further clicking reveals that the “scholars” include James Fetzer. Who is James Fetzer? He is a Professor (Natch) at the University of Minnesota…check THIS out!!

Sounds like another candidate for “Academics Gone Wild!”

This guy is a dirty, rottin, stinkin, filthy, pinko, commie rat. No more or no less. He should be hunted down, confined and left to rot! In this day and age we do not need to put up with people like this. Disgusting!

I’m disgusted by Jesse Macbeth’s actions. He has slandered our military, our soldiers, our country…and he should be prosecuted for perpetrating a hoax that could potentially place our citizens abroad, as well as our miliary personel in GRAVE danger. This is a crime, plain and simple. He should be arrested, charged, and tried. I have no doubt that he would be found guilty. I respect the fact that some people are against the war, and I respect reasonable dissention, but this is beyond freedom of speech. He performed an act on the same level as yelling “FIRE!” in a crowded theater. A person can be arrested and tried for such actions, and what Jesse did was nothing less. If you disagree with the war, for logical, reasonable reasons, fine. But if you commit acts which endanger our soldiers and our citizens, you are nothing less than a criminal. I checked out the MySpace page for him, and the comments left for him up to last evening were…”colorful”, to say the least. ;-)
