You have to watch this video. Look in the “Best of Glenn Beck” section and click on the headline “War creates a family.” It’s the most positive story to come out of Iraq in a long while.

CNN? Isn’t it the affiliate of the Al Qaeda TV “Al Jahzeera”?

Correct me if I am wrong, but isn’t “CNN” short for “Camel News Network”?

Sometimes that channel, to boost the ratings a little bit, has to “fabricate” some good news from Iraq, don’t you think?

That doesn’t change the core strategy of that channel, it’s just a little twist to test the audience. After all, Ted Turner still belives in the good intentions of Ossama Bin Laden!

This is a heart warming wonderful story, sadly this is not the norm. I can only hope, and pray we have more fair and balanced reporting from CNN and the MSM, but sadly I have absolutly no faith in the major networks, and the MSM as a whole. To devide our country during wartime, to sabotage every thing we have acomplished is sad, shame.

Dear Byran.

I have just watched the video you posted. I can’t believe that just 5 minutes prior I sent a e-mail to you, Ms. Malkin and Allahpundit about that fake ranger and the fake anti-war video. I have never run into such a odd ying and yang sort of coincidence.

Those who made that video I sent you should watch what you showed us. I wish it would change their minds. But it probably wouldn’t. I just hope it would make them have to squarely face the reality of just how deceptive and deceitful they are.

Beautiful post man. Thanks for showing us that CNN video.

Very respectfully

CatholicConservative - Glenn Beck is their new conservative commentator, but he’s not new to a lot of us out here. He’s a solid guy of conservative bent with a low tolerance for B.S.
If the story is from him (and it is), it’s not fabricated.
Credit for this should not go to CNN, it’s all Glenn Beck, and he probably won’t be working for them for too very long when they found out who they’ve really hired.

I saw Glenn’s show in which that segment was aired last week. A great story indeed. We need more just like it, I’m sure there are a ton of them. If only the MSM had a clue.

“… he probably won’t be working for them for too very long…”
Xardoz, those were my exact words when I heard Glenn first talk about his CNN spot on his radio show. Only, to my way of thinking, it won’t be too long before he realizes who he just got in bed with and beats a hasty retreat to the door.
Glenn Beck is too good for CNN.

My guess is Glenn Beck will be CNN’s only show where ratings will increase over time.

SCOTT SOUTHWORTH, the soldier who adopted Allah, is THE BEST PERSON, PATRIOT, SOLDIER, DAD In AMERICA!

Glenn Beck is also an amazing conservative. He organized and hosted the motivating patriotic “Rally for America” at Valley Forge Park some 3 years ago. He was one of the first to have such a Rally in support of our Troops, he’s great!

xardoz, I know who Glenn Beck is. I listen to his radio show from time to time.

My comment wasn’t about him, but about the Camel News Network (CNN) that hired him. See, as I wrote above, they want to hike their ratings a little bit, so they need to satisfy those on the center-right. Exactly as MSNBC is doing. That’s not for being “fair and balanced” but to stop the rapid plunging of their ratings.

MSNBC hires conservatives too, the New York Times as well, it doesn’t make them conservative media outlets.

As for the word “fabricating,” I was being sarcastic. The liberals fabricate and report only the dark side of the story, so they might as well “fabricate” the true, lighter side too!! That has nothing to do with Glenn Beck.

I think Glenn knows his days are numbered at CNN. He has a pool going for the cancelation date.

I think CNN want to keep a “token” around. It makes them feel like they are objective. But when the token starts getting better numbers Larry King a Live, you bet they will try to put Glenn in his place.

When that happens,THAT will be the show to watch.

I have listened to Glenn Beck on the radio, albeit not that long or that often, and like many radio personalities who transition to TV it is often rough sledding. I have watched a couple of his shows on CNN and while the stories he did were probably good when done on radio they lacked something on tv. I said that to say I only watched a couple of the CNN shows and has a result missed this. Maybe when he has more of the bugs worked out I will tune back in.
I know, what a schmuck putting style over substance, but frankly on tv you need to make use of the visual medium more and rely less on the talking part.
But I still think the guy is a good commentator on current events.
BTW he will be forever linked in my mind to his telling of the trials and traveles of the DMV in CT. I hadn’t laugh so hard in a long time. For those that missed it maybe he will do it on one of those Best of shows.

To hear Beck tell it, Headline News and CNN are two different animals, run by different groups of people. It will be interesting to see how long he lasts.
