I think that as soon as he is found guilty of the very first atrocities he’s been charged with-Hussein should be executed.
That very day. On television with the world watching. That way, each of the victims of his regime who wants justice can see justice done, even if their own case charging him doesn’t come up for years. If Hussein is kept alive until all the death sentences for his crimes have been signed, he will be a very old, old man. Iraq will move forward into democracy more quickly when Hussein is executed. Sooner is better.

Sweet! I bet he only wishes it was published 6 years ago so the UN would save him. I like how they say this is based backing ancient tribal times and how it is “strikingly similar to what is happened and is happening in the Iraqi war – totally”
But when they get to the part about ‘”Retaliatory Tactics” and “The Burning of the Twin Towers,” although Hirata said this did not specifically refer to the World Trade Center buildings attacked on September 11, 2001.’ –somehow this isn’t strikingly similar???? Please.
