Hey Michelle,

You have done a good job documenting leaking borders, MSM bias, and the bias of graduation speakers.

The graduation speakers are only the tip of the liberal iceburg in terms of the stranglehold that they have on our education system. At least general media has to go out among a population mix with some sane thinkers, and now thanks to the blogosphere, we are exposing to them to the light.

In our education system, however, our children and young adults are vulnerable. We turn over our impressionable children to the National Education System and liberal college professors. Textbooks, tenure for college professors, selection/acceptance of theses, papers to publish are all places where destructive discrimination occurs away from the spiritual values this country was founded on.

Harder to document, but definitely there. Our children’s minds and the future of this country are being hijacked by blatantly deceptive teaching. They are not learning critical thinking but are being brainwashed. They are not learning an objective view of history, but are being taught in a way that de-emphasizes moral character, loyalty, unity, and spiritual values. They are not learning science as a tool to discover truth without preconcieved biases. Science is a tool to be manipulated for political or economic gain.

The very institutions that Jefferson and others saw as an investment and insurance of the security of our future are now being used to kidnap and brainwash our children and destroy this country.

Something I learned long ago…
I didn’t go to college until I was 25. instead I went to work as a welder for 9 years. I had to do simple stuff like pay the rent, help out an ailing father, put food on the table etc etc.
Living in the real world prior to college teaches you a few simple truths. The main one is:
” Every one speaks BS. Listen to it with a heathly dose of skepticism, and make your OWN decisions. When in doubt research, don’t fall for another BS line because you are too lazy to think for yourself.”

The real world kills libarlism.
Very few welders, ditch diggers, framers etc are screaming liberals.

Thanks, Michelle. I feel much better now. After my computer’s hard drive crashed, I suffered “Vent” withdrawal until I could get back on line. Of course, the agony that I experienced pales in comparison to the agony experienced by liberal college graduates when they enter the real world. Then again, they could avoid the real world by becoming Hollywood celebrities.

By the way, exactly what did Jodie Foster do to warrant her being the speaker at a college commencement?

Great vent Michele! That statistic about the lack of conservative commencement speakers doesn't surprise me one bit. Heck! A conservative librarian at OSU Mansfield was branded a "sexual harasser" simply for recommending "The Marketing of Evil" book on the reading list for incoming freshman! Apparently, "diversity" for liberals only includes the type of diversification that they happen to agree with! Commies!!

Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We didn’t have a speaker at graduation. At least, not one outside the University staff. (UNLV) The closest we got was Jay Leno outside the auditorium doing his usual shtick asking gradutes questions they should have zero problem answering, yet showed the waste their parents spent on their educations. I graduated from Law school where a state supreme court justice followed the two student speakers. He ranted on about how we now owed the world pro bono work. The lease he could have done was wait until we got jobs and started paying off our student loans. After hearing him speak I wondered how he would have faired with Jay Leno out in the hall. After M’s address I am ready to face the worl armed with my bright new Juris Doctor!

I would’ve added the following:

Do not blame America for the world’s miseries. If you think about it, you’ll find out that the world hate America, the world is jealous of America.

The world doesn’t want America’s help, that’s what they claim, but in reality millions -not just from Mexico, but from every single country on the Globe- want to come to America to have a better life or a career. In spite of the world’s apparent hate for America, many countries ask America’s help. What does it tell you?

Read your history books, review recent history. America is not the “evil” one, America is not “Satan.”

America liberated oppressed people. America is feeding the hungry, helping the poor and is helping fighting diseases and curing the sick around the world.

America is misunderstood.

America is the beacon of freedom.

America is the desire of the world.

America is your country, love her, care for her, defend her and stop bashing her.

America is all of us, for all of us, with all of us.

You are Americans, BE PROUD!!

Itis quite unfortunate that the (mostly) fine people who inhabit the 18-24 demographic don’t recieve such sage advice. Fortunately for us who live in the real world, most of those kids leave college and live in the real world in which they must strike out on their own. Once they work their buns off (as americans are prone to do) and see others who feel life is such that the are entitled to a hand out, they realize that their college instructors were, indeed, liars. I think this is one reason that most people find themselves leaning more to the right in their mid to late 20′s. For them to learn that the fruits of their hard work (which is theirs, and theirs alone) are to be taken from them and parcialed out among the ‘less fortunate’, they realize that the fairy tales which their former instructors imparted upon them are false. It is then that they become americans and forego all the myths of their former taskmasters (professors).
