Sheesh, you’d think all the years Foster has spent before the camera reciting someone else’s writing she would be more… I dunno…moving in a commencement speech. I’m struck by how thin her voice is, how unsure of her reading, and considering how vapid the writing I bet she wrote it herself.

Is that the best a university can do for the graduating students? What a slap in the face of the students AND their parents to have such a moronic speaker on graduation day. After 10’s of thousands of dollars spent by the students and (mostly) parents, this institute invites an actress?? Give me a break !! It would have been better if they brought in someone from the REAL world, such as the corporate head of a medium to large company to speak of REAL world issues as those issues will soon affect them. That was just B.S. on the part of the school!!
