MM Love you and love HotAir! But the whole Plumegate is nothing more than a distraction and few, if any of us out here in Azetlan could care what happens to the whole bunch! Focus MM! Focus!

Dread Pirate Roberts VI on May 16, 2006 at 10:02 AM

Entertaining as always, Michelle. The moonbats are full of guano!

bleeding_right on May 16, 2006 at 10:04 AM

Miss the tee shirt ads. Nice Rant. I especially the clip of Comrade Cronkite showing his true colors.

Wade on May 16, 2006 at 10:13 AM

Very, very funny. One of the best Vents yet.

But be careful or Chris Matthews will accuse you of “smearing” Honest Joe Wilson too!

Go RBNY on May 16, 2006 at 10:13 AM

But what about Scooter Libby?
Scooter Libby
Scooter libby
Scooter libby….
…… Chris Matthews/ Hardboiled

Gault on May 16, 2006 at 10:25 AM

If the libs spent half as much time developing a program as they’ve spent obsessing over Karl Rove, they might not be the minority party.

Jeff Naylor on May 16, 2006 at 10:32 AM

I wonder why ray nagin didn’t blame rove regarding his problem with “premature evacuation” during Katrina?

captamerica on May 16, 2006 at 10:43 AM

So the whackos either think that nuking Rove will cause Bush to become a lost puppy, or they think that making Rove look dirty will cause harm to Bush. Either way, who cares other than them. IF Rove is the brains behind Bush, then maybe Bush is better off without him, considering the stupidity Bush has accomplished(and NOT accomplished more than that) that has his poll numbers in the toilet. IF Rove being dirty hurts Bush, again, it isn’t like he is going to face another election, and doubtful that Rove looking dirty is going to hurt mid terms, the GOP has already hurt that more than they can probably fix by then themselves.

NRA4Freedom on May 16, 2006 at 10:49 AM

Hilarious rant, Michelle!

Bryan, where did you get that pic of Master Rove thumbing his nose? If it’s genuine, it’s priceless.

Pablo on May 16, 2006 at 10:50 AM

It’s genuine, and Allahpundit found it…somewhere. I just couldn’t resist using it.

Bryan on May 16, 2006 at 11:04 AM

Really nice Vent Michelle.

Did somebody actually believe that truthout report? What are people thinking?

Aitch on May 16, 2006 at 11:17 AM

Come back to South Jersey we nee you here Michelle…Maybe the libs can get Rove on A parking ticket, illigal left turn, speeding. If only Rove beat his wife, the Moonbats would be happy.

birdman on May 16, 2006 at 11:21 AM

You’re doing a great job, Michelle, but this issue has a much more serious side. Democrats have been using malicious prosecutions against Republicans with a great deal of success.

The Tom DeLay prosecution brought down the House Majority Leader, and another phony investigation brought down Newt Gingrich. Now the Special Prosecutor is trying to see how far he can go with the phony Valeria Plame issue. Rove may well be indicted sometime just prior to the 2006 election. Remember Caspar Weinberger’s indictment?

Meanwhile, the Republican led Justice Department is snoozing instead of prosecuting the reporters and their leaker friends in the CIA and NSA who have ramped up to a nonstop barrage of leaks intended to feed their friends in the media a new “scandal” every week.

It looks as if the Republicans are sleepwalking while Democrats are conducting a new form of political warfare against them using politically orchestrated leaks, as well as phony criminal investigations and indictments. This is only going to get much worse if the Dems win control of the House in November.

Orcaswa on May 16, 2006 at 11:24 AM

One more point, in addition to bringing down major Republican political figures, these malicious investigations and prosecutions have already done a great deal of political damage to the Bush Adminstration and to the Republican Party’s image.

While there have been some real instances of Republican corruption recently, the DeLay prosecution, the “Plamegate” investigation and the calls by Democrats for investigations about every new CIA/NSA leak have clearly hurt the Bush Administration in the polls, as well as the Republican Party’s chances in November.

Orcaswa on May 16, 2006 at 11:36 AM

Excellent vent as always. The fervor surrounding Rove points back to Rush’s claim many years ago that politics IS the religion of the left.

This could only have been better if Michelle’s phone had the “La Migra” ringtone. ;-)

Fogpig on May 16, 2006 at 11:41 AM

LOL! I really enjoyed this issue of Vent since my DUmmie FUnnies Blog has been on top of this Fitzmas Fiction story for the past few editions. Will now update it to link to this HILARIOUS Vent video.

http://dummiefunnies.blogspot.com/2006/05/fitzmas-freudenschade-spreads-far-and.html

pjcomix on May 16, 2006 at 11:59 AM

I had a friend call ME bragging that Rove was going down
He’s yet to respond; not sure why :-p
Yet another reason why I left the left, I have my sanity

Defector01 on May 16, 2006 at 12:04 PM

There is some good news about Christ Matthews. More people watch a soccer game in Oklahoma than watch Christ Matthew’s ‘Hardball’.

MaiDee on May 16, 2006 at 12:16 PM

Thanks Michelle. I found it interesting to se Valerie and Joe at the correspondents dinner, laughing it up at the Plamegate jokes by Colbert. What a load of crapola. It is disgusting what lengths people will go to destroy other people. I still dont understand what advantage the Bush administration would get out of blowing the so-called cover of Valerie Plame anyway.

I think john gibson from Fox News had a good point.

Phytogirl79 on May 16, 2006 at 12:17 PM

Great Vent Michelle - well presented, thought out, and brings attention to tactics of political infighting.

I have to agree with “Dread Pirate Roberts VI” in the 1st post however - details of a Moonbat Jubilee that celebrates attack on anything not their own (new term perhaps “Dem-Nazi”?) distracts from more important issues.

Perhaps discussion of Illegal Alien Infiltration Invasion and manipulation of US political process from a foreign power, solutions to UN ineptitude and corruption in the face of major crises, Russian and Chinese governments aiding an Iranian nuclear proxy to their own economic and political benefit at the possible cost of nuclear holocost, and Bush Administration appointment of incompetent loyalist to crucial posts, put political infighting as a distraction.

Again I agree with “Dread Pirate Roberts VI” in the 1st post Michelle - Focus! (Perhaps with a humorous illustration from a Romantic Comedy “Laws of Attraction” with Pierce Bosnan and Julianne Moore “Focus Michelle, Focus!).

Thank you for your frequent publication on Hot Air Michelle, I look forward to it every day.

omegaram on May 16, 2006 at 12:32 PM

No frog march yet? Rove must have bribed the Prosecutor, Fitzgerald with a million shares of Halliburton. This will obviously corrupt the entire investigation. LOL

BelchSpeak on May 16, 2006 at 12:45 PM

Good to see Seixon.com getting props. That guy’s the hardest working man in blog business. He’s a one-man debunking machine.

see-dubya on May 16, 2006 at 12:47 PM

All the speculation about Rove being indicted reminds me of all the right-wing frothing and screeching about Air America going off the air within months of its start.

better off blue on May 16, 2006 at 12:49 PM

oh poor rove, so sheepish! never having any power to defend himself! poor poor rove- thanks to michelle he’s righteous?

who gives a damn. stop wasting your time with diatribe MM

Raos on May 16, 2006 at 1:04 PM

Raos, thanks for that important comment! I’m sure glad I took the time to read such meaningful prose.

Pablo on May 16, 2006 at 1:09 PM

Oh good. I was hoping some trolls had registered.

Brian, they listen to it through their tin foil hat radios.

batperez on May 16, 2006 at 2:37 PM

You know, given Michelle’s tendency with props, I had about a half second of sympathetic anxiety that she was going to chuck the clock at the cameraman…:) This was a another good report. I listened to some of what drudge had to say about this Luh luh luh…leopold guy..and he sounds like a B.S artist to me. To me, the whole Valerie Plame thing is faux scandal. Even if Rove is indicted, it’s like going to jail for crashing your daughter’s bike while drunk (not that I have ever done that; it’s a completely random example)It’s a made up charge. He would basically being going to jail for being Karl Rove. It’s a put up job. They don’t care about security. It’s just an excuse to stick it to him. And honestly, appropriate to yesterday’s vent, I’m still seeing red about this whole border fiasco and I’m having a hard time being sympathetic to the White House’s problems with this.

austinnelly on May 16, 2006 at 3:01 PM

better off blue: There was never any “frothing” or “screehing” over Air America from the right-wing, we all knew that Air America would be A failure from the get go. Better off blue you live in A dream world.

birdman on May 16, 2006 at 3:12 PM

Huffingtonpost.com is way better I think I’ll post with ‘people’ over there. Less idiotic worship of
dry-humor facists.

But thanks for the album material on lunatics.

Raos on May 16, 2006 at 3:39 PM

Well, buh-bye then.
Thanks for flying Hot Air.

You might try the DU also. I’m sure you would fit in there quite well too.

LegendHasIt on May 16, 2006 at 3:55 PM

Right, Raos..over at Huffpo, we have idiotic worship of a bunch of left coast Hollywood morons that are either too stupid or too ugly to sleep their way into an acting job so they just screech about politics instead. Your contribution here will be missed, at least until the next flush.

austinnelly on May 16, 2006 at 4:07 PM

what a genius! anyway- don’t get mad because you’re boring

you guys make me want to not install Flash- click ‘no’.

Real conservatives would wipe your pansy asses with your cocktail tabs.

Raos on May 16, 2006 at 4:15 PM

Hey, is Karl Rove still indicted over at Huffpo, Raos?

That’s the “reality-based” community, right?

I’ll never forget the touching tales of cannibalism in the Superdome that I read about at Huffpo, back in it’s salad days.

Pablo on May 16, 2006 at 4:32 PM

Michelle,

Please consider limiting comments to 250 words. Half page tomes are more suited to the newspaper Opinion pages - not VENT.

pocomoco on May 16, 2006 at 7:34 PM

better off blue,

I don’t remember any frothing about Air America. I think you probably just sneezed in your latte.

OCBill on May 16, 2006 at 8:33 PM

Didn’t “Air Amerika” loose its anchor station last month?
Methinks Al Franken found out he wasn’t “Good enough, smart enough, and gosh darn it, people just don’t like him”

Any whoo
Good Vent, was nice to get a a chuckle after watching the government make yet another step toward mexico annexing america.

Wyrd on May 16, 2006 at 8:51 PM

Have the DUmmies claimed that Karl was on the grassy knoll yet?

If Karl is such an Evil Genius, why are the President’s numbers so lousy? (Looks out a window and sees illegal aliens waving at him) Er, never mind.

orwellian on May 16, 2006 at 9:21 PM

HooHOO! Ain’t nothin’ like a good ole can of Whoop Ass as delivered by Michelle Malkin…

A real pleasure watching y’all kick butt over here on Hot Air. My new fave site. Given the MSM is so busy competing ith each other for the Most Arrogant Booby Prize, they won’t know what hit ‘em when they find their audience has tuned out and tuned in to Hot Air. Ha!

cowgirlup on May 16, 2006 at 10:28 PM

How do you do that thing with your arms (time index 00:01:55..08)? Must freak-out the family, huh?

Good vent: good details and references.

solitas on May 16, 2006 at 11:36 PM

Raos, did you say you prefer the Huffingtonpost because they have “less idiotic worship of
dry-humor facts?

;-)
