Audio: Michelle and Laura Ingraham on Bush’s speech

How did Independent Conservative scoop me on this one? Not sure, but he did. I’m calling for an immediate investigation into the Hot Air in-house media alert system. Much like our borders, the e-mail chain is broken, my friends.

Further immigration reading: a new ABC News/WaPo poll finds 74% in favor of deploying the Guard, but without specifying how many Guardsmen. Meanwhile, in Britain, things are just as bad as they are here. If you can believe that.

Blowback

Did anyone else have trouble playing the WMA file? Windows Media Player told me the “format is no longer current”. No dice…

RD on May 17, 2006 at 12:20 AM

RD-Microsoft is about to roll out Windows Media 11, so if you haven’t updated your codecs in a while, even though it’s WMA, your media player might be too old.
But enough tech.
I’m hoping that President Bush is getting a lot of phone calls and visits from the Republicans who want to be re-elected this year, who feel that he is jeopardizing their chances. He should be a statesman now, and not a polititian. If the Republicans can somehow retain power in the Congress, they need to solve this mess before 2008. If they lose 2006, God help us. If you think the Democrats have been digging in their heels for 5.5 years, you haven’t seen anything yet.

I have to concur with all comments above; without a doubt Laura & Michelle are 2 conservative commentators that display beauty and brains like no others on the planet hands down.

Such a great exchange this was that as I type I am listening to it for the second time today at 2am!

After hearing their audio together, I need to go take a cold shower.

I’ll be right back.

My Media Player also won’t accept this audio file; mine is at 10.00.00.4019!!!!!!! Also, it said, no updates available; that it’s at the current version. Go figure!

Michelle and Laura are RIGHT ON with the pulse of the public’s feelings on the immigration quagmire and the bandaid proposals by President Bush and most of our elected officials.

SHOULD BE REQUIRED LISTENING FOR ALL MEMBERS OF THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION, THE HOUSE, AND SENATE.

Secure the border…NOW!!

Richard Davis on May 17, 2006 at 9:45 AM

Why can’t these two run Homeland Security?

Notice how the witty Laura Ingraham while not exactly speechless, is a bit short on words. The current dilemna Bush foisted on us has everyone stumped.

First Bush multiplied the problem by intentionally not policing the borders for years, while saying he was working at it. He did’t say he had worked harder than he had ever worked before like Clinton, but it was close.

Next Bush increased employer dependency by looking away everytime another job category fell to the illegal workers instead of cracking down on the employers.

The displaced American workers became the people who won’t, or will not, or do not do the jobs illegals will do. They have lost their voice, as they struggle to survive on the jobs American people are still allowed to do while subsidizing the illegal alien need for medical, dental, and community college.

Next Bush cranked up the border flow by saying at every public opportunity we cannot send the illegals back, and we must reward their willingness to replace American shirkers by giving them the citizenship and votes the unwilling no longer merit.

Is anyone besides me sick of the fact that Bush has called the illegals ‘good people’ more often than he has called the American citizen ‘good people’?

Faced with this,a great apathy or inertia has overtaken people who disagree with Bush.

In my case, I am frozen like deer in the headlights. I am only certain I will give zero trust or support to anyone or anything involved in the Bush hijack.

The next move is up to the fools in Washington or the fools in the reconquista movement, and neither play by the rules.

Count me amongst those who could not access that wma file, and if that wasn’t bad enough my attempts caused me to be informed that I am either a robot, or a robot portraying a human, or a human portraying a robot?!?! GRRR!

Call me MR. Roboto. I’m still pondering the gravity of that insult. Anyone know a good Conservative lawyer? :oP~~~

Michelle and Laura: Brains, beauty, morals, humor and common sense. All the things the Left is in serious need of.

Michelle, Laura, Ann Coulter, Mona Charen and Condi Rice on our side.
Barbra Striesand, Janenne Garafalo, Susan Saradan, Helen Thomas and Hillary Klinton on the other side.
God, I LOVE being a conservative!
