Veteran of the 82nd Airborne, former editor-in-chief of the Daily Illini, inadvertent free-speech martyr — and now, summer intern. Somewhere, Ayaan Hirsi Ali is smiling.
Follow the link, as that’s no ordinary “new hire” announcement. They tried to erase him; instead, with a little luck, in a few days his essay will be linked on every major right-wing blog in America. The perfect ending.

The Daily Illini’s Board of Directors … my, my, my….
What can one say about them?
They are, indeed, one perfect example of how liberalism can closely resemble fascism when it muzzles people in order to protect them from themselves.

Daily Illini Internship Program at Al Jazeera
Leftism abounds in acadamia, but it’s motivations are usually selfish. The desire to inform the readers of ones publication takes a back seat to the desire to influence ones readers. With no self criticism comes no improvement. Don’t expect much from Daily Illi alumni, they are only learning to fill the dhimmi cubicles of the cut and paste MSM.
